If you like captain america first avenger then you should buy this 4k steelbook!!!!

One of the original movie that got the Avengers franchise started.

This is a great movie! This is one of the few comics to screen translations that I would say is worthy of a nomination for Best Picture. And a digital copy.

Years ago I began doing everything based on my mood. This became very difficult to watch movies or listen to music and though I have "broken free" from that limitation for the most part I have found that no matter what mood I'm in I can always watch Captain America. The visual effects and acting were top of the line and the story was in depth and really made you feel for the characters. Excellent movie!

Who does love captain America and the whole MCU? Definitely watch this movie first!

CAPTAIN AMERICA is an awesome super heroe. I know that my favorite AVENGER is IRON MAN, but CAPTAIN AMERICA actually surprise me.Chris Evans as CAPTAIN AMERICA was a perfect choice. I heard if Chris Evans did not take the part they were going to hire Jhon Cena, thank god Chris Evans took the role of CAPTAIN AMERICA. Hayley Atwell did a great job playing as Peggy Carter. I don't know if im wrong or not, but I think the girl at the end with the red hair in front of Steve Rogers at the S.H.I.E.L.D facility was the niece of Peggy Carter called Sharon Carter, it could be, but I could be wrong. Either way Captain America: The First Avenger is a must have. It's just another collectible of my MARVEL characters which will star in THE AVENGERS and another piece of the puzzle to the up coming movie of THE AVENGERS. I can't wait for The Avengers to assemble. :)

This movie was great it stayed very close to the storyline of the comic book - which most movies don't hint hint (X-Men which was just a mess from the beginning of those movies) but anyway. The movie was excellent. The graphics were also amazing. So if you are feeling like you are in a super hero mode - this movie would be a great pick by far.

If you haven't seen this movie yet and you are a fan of Marvel, then you MUST! As the second to last movie of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase 1, "The First Avenger" helps build a foundation of the MCU movies that follow. Oh, but then the acting! Toby Jones and Hugo Weaving as the bad guys almost steal the show and those of you who think that Chris Evans can't step away from his portrayal of the Human Torch will be beyond pleasantly surprised!

Captain America: The First Avenger is a great film by its own merits. Showing the good old retro style and production design, since this film is directed by Joe Johnson who is capable of portraying the old times perfectly. Chris Evans did a great job as Captain America. Some of the action scenes are disappointingly unexciting but at least the CGI effects are eye candy. The movie ends with true patriotic heroism and full of heart. Definitely not new but it's still enjoyable.

I love this movie. It has quality action and characters that you care about. The story and setting are better than most Marvel movies. It takes place during WWII times. It is interesting to see that unique technology during that time period. I could relate to the Captain America character. The 3D was well done, in my opinion. It helps to immerse you into the movie. The ending is more satisfying than a lot of Marvel movies. This is all around a great movie!

I was definitely not disappointed. When watching, I did have to remember to take it as it was, and not be so quick to compare it to the Iron Man (I) or Thor. The acting wasn't the greatest, although the chick was hot! Chris Evans was a better Johnny Storm than he was Captain America, but he had his moments. It really got me excited about the upcoming Avengers movie...which really was the purpose of this film. This movie and Thor were supposed to be strong lead in's to the main Avenger's film, which is good because the last Iron Man didn't live up to the first. The special features were pretty decent. Some good background stuff on CA, but I would have loved to see more talk about Avengers.

Extremely Enjoyable movie that manages to be both modern and nostalgic at the same time. Getting the director from the Rocketeer was genius and it shows! Dovetails nicely into next years AVENGERS Movie!

I was a little disappointed and maybe it was me but I thought that the movie was a 2 pack, one of the original movie and one of the new one. I am not sure if I read it wrong or just that the picture is misleading since it shows the back and front therefore making it look like two movies. But for the value, the price is the same as Walmart, I had to wait 3 days to get it versus driving to Walmart. My husband was so anxious to see it on our HD Tv, we saw it in movie theatre and he got on my nerves waiting. Love the movie though!!

Captain America is an awesome film with a solid plot and very good execution. Tommy Lee Jones is superb as always and the acting from the other characters is more than adequate. The special effects are top notch as well. All in all...a very good movie from beginning to end.

I really enjoyed this movie, the plot was pretty predictable if you read or have read Caps comics. I loved the cast and really connected with them although I will miss Peggy Carter as she played her part flawlessly. My real gripe is that I wish there had been more shield play. I really wanted to see more Cap crackin' skulls with it. Its use & background just seemed limited. If you don't read too much into this heroic tale you will likely get a lot of fun out of it.

Story was solid and it was a decent movie overall but the 3D on this movie was spectacular. Loved the Cinematography!

While I'm not overly invested in many of the Marvel Cinematic Universe characters, the overall idea is a good one and it has been executed flawlessly. That being said, Captain America is probably the most interesting of these superheroes to me, and this movie is an enjoyable one. The supporting cast is great, the effects are outstanding, and most of the time you feel as though you're along for the ride instead of watching it from a distance, which is exactly what a good movie should make you feel.

I bought this because it was one of the few 3-D movies available, with a title that seemed mildly interesting. It lived up, or down, to expectations. The story held my interest throughout, but I could not fully immerse myself, and found myself asking "how did they create that special effect" instead of accepting it as real or realistic. A good novelty, and a vehicle I will probably use to show off 3-D to my envious friends.

I enjoyed Captain America. The actors all did a wonderful job with their parts and the story was not that bad. I simply could not buy into a film that proposed that Hydra, a terrorist organization with rockets subs and laser cannons were the main villains of World War II and Hitler, the SS and the German army was pretty much completely overlooked. Evidently Best Buy believes that Hitler's party is inappropriate language and I had leave that word out of my review.
