This movie preserved the essence and strength of the original comic book while bringing the story into modern times with modern villains.

This movie is action packed and the kids liked it. What's more, it is a movie that kids (maybe 8-9-10 and over) can watch without having to worry about innapropriate behavior...especially since they market these action hero movies toward kids.

Not having followed the comics, I really enjoyed this Captain America origin story. Loved the characters, the action, everything.

I like this movie and so did my child. Reason Why i bought in On Blu ray. Im not sure i can ever go back to dvd unless i have no other option.

My kids (10 and 7) really enjoyed this movie and I did as well. It had a positive message and wasn't too violent while still enaging both my kids and myself.

And it didn't disappoint. One of the better Marvel movies out there, a nice story with good action sequences, a must see!

Having been a Captain America fan from an early age, I found this Movie quit Entertaining. Great Visuals and a Great Story.

Captain America: The First Avenger is a great origin story for Captain America. I also really liked the World War II setting.
