This movie was better than I thought it would be. It might be a little slow in spots to set up the character, but overall a fantastic addition to the Marvel Movie Universe. The 3D was well done and not intrusive. Also includes a very good set of extras, and the digital copy options are MUCH better than the Iron Man movies. I prefer the Vudu/Flixster options BY FAR over the iTunes/Windows options.

A really great movie and wonderful actors. It is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), but is also great as a stand alone movie if you haven't seen any of the others. Just don't be surprised when it pulls you into the MCU and you develop a burning need to watch the rest of the movies.

This movie was the beginning of something spectacular as this is the First Avenger. The movie tells of the origin of Captain America and an early peek of S.H.I.E.L.D. Greatly cast and a well written story. The 3D bluray, bluray and dvd/digital copy was the best version to get when it was from Paramount Home Entertainment but now Disney owns it. Trust me this movie is truly the best to have.

Initially I didn't purchase a copy of this blu ray but after picking up all of the others (Winter Soldier, Civil War) I had to go back and complete the set. The price was continually above $20 and I waited patiently for a price drop...Bingo best time to pick it up. Great movie with development of Cap and Bucky!!! Must see for all Cap fans. Prime Approved!

I'm not usually a fan of the photographic/poster style steelbook designs, but the product listing doesn't capture the different layering or reflective surfaces that really make the image pop. Also, hot take: this is the best Cap movie, and one of the best of the entire MCU.

I wasn't expecting to like this movie as much as I did. But seriously, it is amazing -- great, intricate story, perfect casting, astounding action. It's especially important to watch this movie if you've been following the long-running Infinity Gauntlet story of the Marvel movies, or if you're a fan of the TV show Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (the movie actually ties in to the show).

Captain America was great when I owned it on blu-ray, but it had a glitch in the first few minutes of the film. I tried it on different players, but still had the same issue. I decided to replace my blu-ray with 4K UHD when it was on sale. Very glad I did.

I never get tired of watching this movie. This is the first movie in the trilogy of Marvel Comics Captain America films (Captain America: The First Avenger; Captain America: The Winter Soldier; Captain America: Civil War), and with Chris Evans in the lead, it is destined to remain a favorite.

Two of the Captain Americas were on super sale, so I bought them to upgrade to 4K for my new 4K tv. When the third one matches the price I paid for these two, I will jump on that as well. My goal is the whole Marvel collection in 4K and Steelbook and you can only get those at Best Buy.

You really can't go wrong with Marvel movies! This one introduces us to Captain America and his back story. When it was re-released in 4K for me it was a must own!!! Highly Recommend upgrading to this superior quality!!

By the time Captain America hit the screen, the MCU was well on their way to making history with the many films that we have come to love. Captain America is a great start to the Captain America arc of movies, good action, great SFX and a entertaining story make this fun to watch

Seems like so long ago I first saw this. It's taken a while to fill out my collection of Marvel movies. Why not just use a streaming service? For the same reason I still go to the actual movie theater - there's something better about having the film / seeing it in first-run.

I've been looking for this for a while as a collector, i would recommend to wait for a Marvel film to be released at the movies so you catch pick this up cheaper. Great organ film for cap

This is the first of the CAPTAIN AMERICA movies. I personally think this film was average and not one of the greatest Marvel films. Of the Captain America movies, I like CIVIL WAR best.

I love the character of Captain America! The origin story as the first Avenger is great. Marvel really knows how to elevate these super hero characters through actor casting, story telling, and special effects. I am glad to have this one on Blu-ray and 4 k.

Not having grown up as a comic book fan, I never really knew the whole backstory for Captain America. This movie did a great job telling that story as well as setting things up for future greats like Avengers. Chris Evans and the entire cast do a great job. Lots of moments to smile and feel good about as well.

Bought this to supplement my MCU collection. I remembered it being a little corny the first time I watched it, but after re-watching I changed my mind. Very good movie with great action. It's over the top but a great story and a big piece of the MCU story so far. I am hoping we see red skull make a new appearance in the future.

What's better than a super-hero movie? A movie with the super-hero fighting for America in World War II, that's what! Chris Evans just nails the essence of Captain America in this all-time best Marvel movie. I could watch this one a thousand times.

When this first came out, I wasn’t a huge Cap fan. But I enjoyed the movie. Watching it almost a decade later, there’s so many more small things I enjoy, and it’s a great origin story movie. Amazing how it fits perfectly to the final moments of Endgame, 20 movies later.

I think I'm the only person in the world that preferred this to Winter Soldier. But I like origin stories and like seeing Steve Rogers determination as he changes from the weakling to the superhero we know and love. The WWII setting was fun. Tommy Lee Jones and Stanley Tucci are great. And no Samuel L. Jackson! Bonus!
