This movie is definitely worth watching if you're a fan of Marvel movies. This movie introduces us to Captain America (Steve Rogers) and tells his back story. It's not as action-packed as some other Marvel movies but it is done well and provides good entertainment.

My son always pick up a new dvd if I bring him in the store. There’s always a good selection of new titles and good prices.

This was the only MCU blu ray I didn't have. I kept waiting for it to drop in price (had always been $30) When it finally did I was fortunate enough to find it on the shelf. As far as the film, it's very linear but necessary for an origin story. The sequel exceeds The First Avenger, but it's still entertaining.

Captain America is one of best superhero movies of all time. Go and watch it. You'll enjoy the story and action. It has a good cast of characters also.

I love that most of this movie takes place during WWll, so it's not your typical Marvel movie in that respect. Chris Evans is great in the role.
