I liked the fact that the story was good, not too serious or too funny, kind of in between. Wish their movies had remained that way. Too many jokes in my opinion on the later installments.

A lot of action. A fun movie. Great characters. Good story line.

Phase 2 so far has been somewhat of a let down with Iron Man 3 and Thor 2 underwhelming me. I still consider those good movies, but I didn't feel the same way with these two as I did in Phase 1. That is until the Winter Soldier. This took the old school spy thriller genre and applied it to the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Captain America and what better way to do it then with the man out of time. The acting is superb with great performances by Chris Evans, Scarlett Johanssen, and Robert Redford along with amazing action sequences. I love how this almost didn't feel like a superhero movie, which appealed to my wife. That's how great the story is. The biggest letdown had to be the special features. I was hoping to see another Marvel One-Shot, but I understand that's not the fault of the movie itself but the studio. It could have used a little more features to make it worth the extra money to buy the 3D version. Overall, it was a great film and an awesome blu-ray. I highly recommend it.

Awesome movie with lots of action in it. Favorite cap movie.

Arguably the best Marvel movie to date (though I might like Guardians of the Galaxy a bit more, but they're two entirely different kinds of movies, so I digress), and one of the best superhero movies ever made. Incredible action, suspense, acting....it's a more serious story, but they still manage to add in bits of humor, balance multiple characters, while still having it be a part of the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe. I was very impressed with the Russo brothers and how they directed the film, especially given the fact that their previous work was limited mainly to television shows like Community. The only drawback that really has nothing to do with the movie itself is the lack of extras on the blu-ray. There are a few featurettes, bloopers, and commentary by the directors (which is excellent, by the way), but it just feels like they left out so much that could have been on the disc. It's a minor nitpick, given that, again, the commentary is great, and the movie itself is superb.

Arguably the best movie in the MCU. And always get the digital copy.
