Great transfer to 4k one of the best movies in the mcu

This is the movie that we have been waiting for years.

I’m assuming if you’re looking at this review, you’ve already seen the movie. However, indulge me for a minute. Even though the MCU is close to 15 movies beyond Winter Soldier (as of the time of writing), it still ranks as one of the greatest achievements of the genre, featuring some of the most visceral action in the series highlighted by an emotional narrative. Disney’s 4K transfers for the catalog MCU titles aren’t anything revelatory, but they’re a step up from the Blu-ray for sure. Colors pop and extra detail is noticable. Slipcovers aren’t a guarantee with this release, but I was able to score one, so I was happy about that.

I give this movie a thumbs up, I like the action packed.

HDR gives colors a nice boost, good overall transfer.

Excellent movie that really shakes up the Marvel Universe. Of the two Marvel films released this year (this and XMen - Days of Future Past) I am really hard pressed to decide which is the better film. This one is probably larger in scope than the Xmen effort, and I personally think this is a much more complex and intricate story...the film is DEFINITELY darker than any other Marvel film I've seen thus far...reminiscent of The Dark Knight trilogy more than say, The Avengers. Really interested to see how the story picks up from here, and while I don't want to give any spoilers, what happens here will impact at least a few upcoming Marvel films, and it has even affected the TV show Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. pretty dramatically. Not all movies nowadays are worth a buy. Many are only worthy of pay-per-view or Redbox...this is not one of them. Much better than the original Captain America film.
