Better than the first. Didn't see it in the theater, waited to view it at home (better set-up and no distractions). Well worth the wait for Blu-ray. Full range sound and separation for 7.1 system. Low end great, but not overpowering. 2D video is demo worthy (have not viewed 3D). Action throughout (and 136 minutes worth), but good character development. Great to see a superhero without "special" powers and they treat it in several unique ways. Stay till credits fully end. Purchased the steel case on pro-order sale, which is very nice, but without additional features, cases in general are not worth price differentials (especially over bonus content).

I am a collector. I love having each type of platform whether DVD, digital, 3D and blu-ray as I share my movies and take them on trips, friends and family's homes. In preparation of Avengers 2 I purchased Captain America 2 so a friend and I could Share Avengers 2 after watching the movies leading up to it. This is a great version of the movie and made for an enjoyable 2 weeks of movie experiences with me and a friend. There are 2 clips during the previews: one halfway through credits and one after they appear to be done at the very end. All of the movies had a secret and then a super secret ending that I missed the first go around.

This is an exciting family movie with loads of action. This is great in 4k. I would recommend to others.

I am a big fan of all of the Marvel movies, really enjoy these on my 85" Sony!!! I purchased multiple SteelBook movies when they went on sale as I have a phenomenal player that renders these 4K versions superbly! Please note you need to have the proper components to play and view to get the most out of the 4k versions. Additionally, each SteelBook comes with exclusive content that give a bit more insight to the actual movie itself - interesting stuff.

This didn’t hold my attention as much as the other Captain America films, but is still worth having.

Action pack and it moves along. Very entertaining; everyone that has watched it likes it a lot.

I was a little worried about the 4K transfer since Cap 1 was ok but it really exceeded my expectations

It is s good upgrade from the regular 1080p blu-ray release, even though the film was only shot in 2K.

A big improvement in video quality over standard blu ray. Only a slight improvement in audio quality.

Personally I enjoyed each of the Captain America movies and while this one doesn't quite compare to The First Avenger, it's a great time. The movie looks great in 4K, or rather Disney's upscaled 2K presentation. The download code in the package also offers a Dolby Vision version of the movie for Movies Anywhere. The sound and visuals are great, and look a step above streaming from Disney Plus on a mediocre internet connection. I recommend this to fans and action movie lovers alike.

As the stereotypical pop-culture geek would say..."Best Marvel movie yet!" This movie had it all...superhero action, 70's era conspiracy theories, and Scarlett Johansson! The plot and action were well intertwined...the acting was superb...and to top it all off, the BluRay packaging was actually a steelbook that wasn't too oversized and didn't screw up the appearance of my movie shelves. Winner all around! If you're a fan of the Marvel movies, then you already probably have seen this...and you already know how good it is. But the steelbook packaging and price that Best Buy offers is by far the better value out there. Buy it...now!

Accepting that since I was a kid, Captain America was my favorite comic book character, my opinion is biased toward liking this movie. And I think it is one of the best Marvel movies out there. Far better than any of the X-Men IMHO. That said, because Captain America is my favorite, if they didn't do him justice, I would be the first one to complain. The movie is great, engaging, and the viewing experience so intense that you completely (at least I did) suspend your disbelieve at the implausibilities of the plot, etc. I mean it is a comic book character after all. But I completely forgot that and just enjoyed the film.

This movie was superb and works both as a super hero movie and a spy/conspiracy thriller. The fight scenes were incredible, the heroes were heroic and the movie touched on many topical concerns about modern day politics, the government's role in society and the whole idea of who watches the watchmen. Anyone can watch this without prior knowledge of Captain America's history and still know what's going on. You can pair this movie with AGENTS OF SHIELD tv show as this movie will affect the plot of the tv show about 2/3 the way through the season. TL;DR: This movie is an incredible suspenseful action thriller. Buy it!

Marvel clearly knows how to make movies. Without Christopher Nolan, I'm not sure how DC can keep up at the box office much less thrive. I loved everything about The Avengers. It had action, humor, and story. I didn't think there was much they could do to improve it. Then came The Winter Soldier. I actually think I like this movie more than The Avengers. The Winter Soldier covered a lot of ground in the story. I loved how they tied it in with the Agents of Shield TV series. Marvel is trying to create one huge cinematic universe, and it appears to be working. Now if only DC could get their act together...

I wouldn't say I was a huge fan of the first Captain America film; I'd probably give it a 3.5 our of 5 starts. But this film took the best elements from the first film, added to it and brought it up to modern times with a great cast, a great story and plenty of fun action scenes. There's a bit of classy humor mixed in and several unique elements that - believe it or not - are original to the action/hero film genre. Great sound and picture; enough variety in story to interest a wide audience and some really interesting ways to address the concept of what American freedom really means. Highly-recommended!

Not the greatest MCU movie, but it sure does look great in 4K. No complaints about the item.

Captain America 3 is more than just a comic book movie. It's also a great action movie. With its nice amount of easter eggs for comic book readers, almost everyone will have a good time watching it. Even those who aren't as well-versed in comics will still enjoy the movie. One of the downsides for me was that the directors used shaky cam for action scenes.The picture quality and audio quality is great. The main downside is the special features. There's hardly any, and the ones that are one the disc are short. Otherwise, I highly recommend this movie for those who want a an all-around great movie.

Great movie, one that blew me away when I saw it in theaters. Good plot, exciting action, some twists I didn't see coming. I got the Steel book version because I wanted a digital download version for my tablet. The collectable packaging is very nice too. I do not have a 3D TV, so I can not comment on that. Small little gripes on the blu ray would be that marvel did not include a one-shot short feature like on previous titles, and the format of the digital download is Apple iTunes (I prefer ultraviolet or Google play) Other than those small things, a great movie that is a must-have for my collection.

This steelbook isn't as attention grabbing and doesn't seem quite as sturdy as past steelbooks released as exclusives at Best Buy, but I really like it regardless. The more I look at it sitting in my collection, the more I fall in love with it. I thought long and hard about which cover art/release to go with for this movie and hands down the steelbook had the best, in my opinion. Initially I was torn on whether or not I like how washed out the color of the art is, since a lot of the others I have are much more vibrant, but I think the vintage wash and texture fits well with the feeling of the movie itself as well as Captain's suit in the film. My only major complaint is I'm not overly fond of the back art as it looks like a last minute thought thrown together in Photoshop with no real attention to aesthetic - I like the vintage wash on the back art, just not the general layout (Robert Redford especially sticks out like a sore thumb to me for some reason). Overall, I am satisfied with this steelbook although I think it comes down to personal preference. Also, I got one without any damage, a complaint I've seen from others on the web, so that's always helpful.

Unfortunately, I missed seeing Captain America: The Winter Soldier in theaters... But luckily for me, the Steelbook Edition was also 3D. Besides being another great Marvel movie, The Winter Soldier has great effects that are made even better by watching it in 3D. One of the best parts about having DVD's available in 3D is that you can watch from home. No more missed explosions pelting your eyeballs when you take a bathroom break or refill your popcorn bowl. The Behind the Scenes features are always fun to watch, and makes you more appreciative of the magic of green screens and digital editing.
