The Winter Soldier is by far the best Marvel movie so far. The story tells how Cap is adjusting to modern life and him questioning the very powers he serves. The winter soldier himself could have been explored further, but I feel that will be done in the next one. The cinematography could have been atrocious based on all the one on one combat and soaring with the Falcon. Instead, the filming was smooth without much jittering or shaky-cam motion. The bluray picture quality is great 5 out of 5 stars. The 7.1 HD audio sounds great with excellent use of the low frequency. Very Highly recommended!

The Winter Soldier is an excellent sequel to the first Captain America movie. Anthony Mackie as the Falcon is also a nice addition to the Marvel family. Keep your ears and eyes open for references to Dr. Strange and Quicksilver as well. The action sequences in this movie are great because the C.G.I. isn't overdone. The only thing that I don't like about this movie is that I'll have to wait until the Avengers sequel releases before Captain America makes another appearance. This is a stand-alone movie that makes sense even if you've never seen the first Captain America movie or The Avengers.

This is the second Captain America installment and by far one of the MCU’s best movies.

Captain America 2: Winter Soldier is a great example of a marvel movie done right. It packs in a great amount of action while still having a solid storyline. You shouldn't expect this to rival Schindler's List or anything for acting or cinematography, but it's good enough to actually enjoy. The fight scenes are very well choreographed and are a fun spectacle. As for the blu-ray quality, the blu-ray is really the best quality you can get for this film other than seeing it in the actual movie theater. If you're in the mood for a fun superhero movie, look no further than Capt. America 2.

Little by little I'm completely my collection before Endgame comes out on home release

By far my favorite Marvel movie!! This movie has it all. Action, political intrigue, interesting characters and great special effects. This movie really moves Captain America's story forward into the modern era. Gives the Winter Soldier lots of character development too. You really feel sorry for him by the end of the movie. This movie really makes Captain America seem more powerful than he was in the Fist Avenger. You really feel the punches! The choreography of the fights is amazing and very exciting. You can't go wrong with this movie!!!

Absolutely the best comic book movie ever, even better than the Nolan Batman films. Even if you don't like or have never seen a super hero/comic book movie, this is the best spy thriller/action movie I've seen. It's just FUN. The action sequences, the quips, every character's dialog. Having a leading cast of two black men, one woman, and one white guy was a nice mix. DC movies all have the same identical generic white male lead, just like action movies in general. Since white men are only 7% of the world's population, its nice to see someone else on a DVD cover for once.

Man can they get any better. I didn’t think so but each one is better than the last.

I like this guy too. I hope they keep up the good work and keep more movies coming.

I enjoyed the first Capt. America and was just as impressed with this one as well. It is a very entertaining movie and worth watching over again. The only gripe I have is with the price that Best Buy had for this movie on release week. Normally, they have a sale price so I can usually get the Blu-Ray/ DVD combo for about 17.99, but this time they only gave a discount if you purchased another movie for 14.99 or more. This promotion is weak and since Best Buy no longer stocks movie inventory themselves, it is done by another company, they have slim pickings on DVDs anymore.

Its a great addition to the marvel universe and comes in a unique package

Winter Soldier brings the outstanding Ed Brubaker comic series to the big screen and changes the Marvel Universe as you know it. While the first film (Captain America: First Avenger) laid the ground work for the origin of the American boyscout we know and love, Winter Soldier expands on Steve Rogers' new life in the 21st century and grounds the character in a more serious, dramatically intense story following his adventures in the Avengers. This Captain America is forced to face his past and question his mission, forever changing SHIELD and the Marvel film universe.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier is much more riveting and thrilling than the first. Don't get me wrong, the first was thrilling, but it was merely to catch us up and prepare us for the Avengers. This, however, had a lot of room to awe. From Robert Redford to the post-credits scene, this movie really keeps my faith high in the Disney-Marvel franchise. I'm all about the exclusive cases too, and this steel case is quite nice. With cool artwork throughout, it is a must have for any die-hard fan of the series. I highly recommend this to anyone that is an avid fan.

By now everyone knows this is possibly the most highly regarded Marvel movie to date. With good reason. It's fantastic. Five stars. The steelbook, however, is not. It feels cheap. It's 'loose'. When you open it, it feels like it's going to come apart. It rattles. It's poorly constructed. And that's if you get a GOOD one. I had to return the one I pre-ordered because it arrived with the spine completely off kilter. Meaning the steelbook spine was glued on crooked. When you buy a steelbook, you want it to be solid. They're a collectors item. At the very least you don't want it to come apart in your hands. The other downside here is the lack of Bonus Features. There are very few and the ones that are included are unimpressive. The big omission here is the lack of a Marvel One Shot, the short films that had become a staple with Marvel home releases. This is a big, big strike. But the movie's great, so I'll watch the feature and handle the steelbook with care. I just hope Guardians of the Galaxy comes with a steelbook that doesn't feel like it was constructed by kindergartners.

I collect steelbooks so I enjoy adding a good marvel movie to my collection.

Although this was a well written movie and the actors did a great job in filling out their roles, I did not like this movie as much as the first "Captain America" movie. I hated that the love interest established in the first movie between the English officer and Captain America was lost in the future. This being science fiction, a plausable way could have been worked into the script to hint that the Major might be in hibernation, or that she was cloned, or that she has a daughter that looks like she did and had followed in her mothers foot steps. Any of those ways could have continued the romance started in the first that I think most fans would have liked broght to a resolution. I also liked the retro fill of the orginal being sent in the World War II era, it gives it a "Indiana Jones" feeling that is missing in the second movie. I do like the development of his friend Bucky into the Winter Soldier and the prospect of different ways that may play out in up coming movies. I would still recomment this movie but I enjoyed the first movie more than this one.

This Combo Pack is a great bundle for fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Contains great extras and every version of the film you could want. As for the movie, it is extremely well done. It incorporates current events and emotions into the plot, making excellent observations about the world of the Avengers, of Captain America, and our own. It is a game changer for the broader MCU, affecting the future of the Avengers, and the spin-off TV show (Agents of SHIELD). It also hints at some future developments many Marvel fans will notice. Great piece of film.

Captain America the Winter soldier as a good story about what if. Steve Rogers after all the years of thinking he loses his good best friend Bucky Barnes finds out that Bucky is actually alive and is the Winter soldier. The soldier who has a killing spree the route for five decades maybe even longer killing and assassinating top officials and important people throughout the world. Steve also finds out that is friend Bucky was brainwashed by Hydra! Black widow had a run-in with the Winter soldier but knew very little of The Winter soldier's identity. I can understand Steve wanting to save his best friend but sometimes that's a little impossible. If you remodel fan this is a very good movie four stars all the way. The storyline is very good the CGI graphics is very well done the acting is very well done as well.

A very good Marvel film with good story and action. Collection worthy for sure.
