The Boldest Marvel Movie on Blu-ray

This film proves that comic book movies can go toe to toe with really good action films. This is a fast paced action film that feels like the best parts of a 70s spy thriller and a Bourne film. The action is intense with just the right mix of humor. I highly recommend this movie even for people who aren't fans of comic book movies because there is enough action for the action junkies to enjoy. Also this movie looks awesome on Blu-ray. The picture quality is crystal clear and the sound is impeccable.

Iron Man, Avengers, Thor. Captain America is my favorite of the current generation of Marvel superhero movies. The plot and character development are superb and each film appears doesn't appear weaker than the other. I hope the third movie is as good as the first two. While the first movie dealt with Cap's origin, this movie deals him living in the modern time and coping with an issue from his past. While you don't need to see the first movie to enjoy this film, watching the first movie does help.

If you enjoy Marvel movies and loved the first Captain America then this is for you. I loved the first Captain America, but this one blows it away. I would suggest watching the first Captain America, watch Marvel Agents of Shield TV show to like episode 17, then watch Winter Soldier, then continue Agents of shield. The series is a little dry at first but as it nears the Winter Soldier plot line it gets very good and continues as the movie ends and is the same with Season 2 which is on the air now.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier is a solid entry into Marvel universe that helps tie together the other films. It has a solid storyline and character development of the characters we were introduced to in previous Marvel films. (Fury, Black Widow) as well as introducing some new ones. The new director keeps the action tight, without making it too dizzy on the screen. A fun-filled adventure movie for the super-hero fan - recommend ages 11+ simply for the extensive action sequences and themes.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier is the 2nd in the Captain America series. Chris Evans reprises his role as Steve Rogers and while this film dives into his past much like the first film did, the plot and action sequences have been stepped up greatly, which turns this film into one of the best Marvel movies yet. This is an integral part of the Marvel Universe and comes highly recommended, especially if you can get ahold of the 3D version. It's worth the extra money.

Although considered defeated, Hydra had been brought to America as a part of operation Paper Clip after WW2, and now is interwoven with NSA in America. Capt'n don't like that! And neither do his friends. Together they make the tough, and I mean really tough choices and fight the good fight for real freedom and liberty against DC politics and the NSA surveillance monster previously called Hydra.

At the onset of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I thought this film might never come to exist. I wasn't even sure how they'd portray Captain America, nonetheless show his side of the world. But, thanks to masterful actors, film-makers and the Marvel Studios backing by Disney, the portrayal was so incredible that after The Avengers, we get to see more of Steve Rogers' side of things. This movie did so in an amazing, fantastic way, and I look forward to what else Marvel has up their sleeves.

I am a fan of Superhero Movies (done right that is). I don't dig the comic books, but love when they turn them into action movies. This one did not disappoint. The storyline unfolds at a perfect pace up to the climatic ending. My only complaint is the name of one of the characters that starts with a "B" and ends with a "y". Since I didn't read the comic book maybe that is the name of that character. Other than that it was awesome and the visuals stunning 3D. Really cool scenes. Go get it.

That he does, alot, in this, one of the most intelligently written Comic book adventure ever. A great cast complete from the previous Captain America movie with Cap, Nick Fury, Black Widow...even a brief scene with Agent Carter and newcomer the Falcon. Even "Bucky" is back but as a brainwashed Hyrda operative Winter Soldier. This one has it all, laughs, thrills, spills and a great tie in to Marvel's Agents of SHIELD.If you love and want adventure, buy this one, you won't be disappointed!

After the attack on New York City Steve Rogers now works for shield at nations capital. With a conspiracy in the midst of their own ranks. Now joining forces with Black Widow and Falcon to expose the plot. Then the Winter Solider emerges a ghost from his past. This such an explosive fast moving paced ride full of action an intrigue. Doesn't miss a beat love this film.

I saw this three times in theaters, and now a fourth time at home. Marvel Studios has turned me into a Captain America fan. Everyone thinks of him as a boy scout, but he's a boy scout that kicks butt! The Winter Soldier was built up along the lines of the Terminator as a scary villain. Black Widow and Falcon were added bonuses, along with Maria Hill and Nick Fury. The only thing that would have made this even better was if the Red Skull was revealed to be Alexander Pierce in disguise.
