For the Avengers related films, this one ranks right up ther as one of the best! Improving on the first Cap film, the Winter Soldier brings Cap believably into the modern era, and makes him a solid part of the Marvel mythos. Robert Redford's turn as "bad guy character actory" is also quite amazing. Who'd of thought that Redford would ever be doing a bit part in an action movie?? Truly worth the purchase!

A great movie featuring Captain America and a few other of Marvels best. A great movie that hints of the modern perils of government control, shadow government and the dangers that creates. More poignant with the current world political currents, a super movie that entertains and has a strong message.

The two Captain America movies are my favorite Marvel movies. The first movie is like a great Indiana Jones adventure. The Winter Soldier, on the other hand, moves the action to the present and feels like a great spy mystery. It also manages to be true to the comics, while at the same time being very grounded in reality. As for the Blu-Ray, it looks and sounds incredible. The extras are brief, but fun.

I really enjoyed this sequel alot better than the original captain america film. Having Robert Redford play a bad guy was a real different role, I don't think he ever played a bad guy before. The action was really intense & the story was really well done. It was great seeing Samuel Jackson & Black Widow again too. I enjoyed this movie alot in the movie theater so I new I would buy it when it came out.

I don't want to "gush" any more than necessary, but this movie is so sensational that it is in a class beyond so many of its peers. I could give away the entire story here and you would still enjoy watching every moment. You will just have to trust me, this is a movie you enjoy on a third and fourth view. Buy it. The Blu -Ray version is worth a few more dollars in dazzle factor. Long live the Captain!

I really love all the Marvel movies. I'm always at the theater as soon as they come out and I always get them as soon as they are released. The Winter Soldier was no exception. A great action movie and a good twist to the SHIELD story. Love Chris Evans as Captain America and I liked the Scarlett Johansson's character working with Captain America! Always waiting impatiently for the next Marvel story!

Captain America: The Winter Soldier does everything its predecessor did right, and ups the ante with a 1970s-style conspiracy framework that pits the Captain against a foe who's shockingly familiar to him...once his mask comes off. Tying directly into events elsewhere in the Marvel Universe (including the TV series Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), The Winter Soldier will leave you hungry for more.

This review is not about the Movie itself (you can read those anywhere) This is about the actual Blu-Ray. The film transfer is EXTREMLY clear HD! Some films still appear grainy when you have a large screen TV, but not Cap2. The sound mix is spot on! I only with that this bundle had the DVD with the Blu-ray as we like to keep the DVDs in the car for trips with the kiddies, and the Blu-rays at home.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier is easily the best offering from the Marvel Cinematic Universe so far. As fun as The Avengers is and as much as people love the Iron Man movies, The Winter Soldier has the most substance in its plot and thrilling action scenes. Though it can only be gotten with the 3D version and costs a bit more than the standard Blu-ray, the steelbook version is the way to go.

Way better than the first Captain America. Highly Recommended. Story is well thought out and I like how vulnerable the Captain is in this movie. The bluray picture is fantastic and the sound is tremendous. There is quite a bit of dimly lit scenes but the picture on the bluray is never compromised. The 3D is also good but after awhile I forget I was watching it in 3D. An immersive movie, 5 stars!!!

I love this movie so much and I was really bummed out that the steelbook case came dented in the mail. It may not have been a Best Buy problem but I will have to buy a need one since I tried to fix the case myself.

I am a big fan of the Marvel movies so I had already seen this movie at the theatre but I was happy to purchase it and add it to my collection. The Blu-ray disc quality is excellent, there are no problems with audio or video playback. My only gripe, and it is minor, is that the movie was not offered in a DVD/Blu-ray combo pack, but that seems to be the way the movie studios are going these days.

This was one of the best movies of 2014. It is a great political action movie. Cap is back with a vengeance along with the Black Widow and newcomer the Falcon to battle Hydra and the Winter Soldier. If you haven't watched all of the other Marvel Cinematic Universe movies don't worry you will still enjoy this movie. The movie looks great on Blu Ray and also comes with Disney Movie Rewards points.

If you want to expand your marvel movie collection then this is for you. If you love super heroes, fast paced action, comedy and a thrill ride then Captain America is just what you ordered. It will please and excite people at any age. It is a must see whether you have seen any other Marvel movie or not. I would highly recommend this to everyone. When it is over you will want to see more. Enjoy

The Marvel movies just keep getting better and better. I got this version at Best Buy because it had the collectible steelbook case. They were the only ones that had this version. Glad it came with an iTunes version. Some movies only have the UltraViolet or Flixster or whatever versions that don't play on high end monitors only cheap PCs and TVs. Great movie! Excellent audio and video quality.

Arguably the strongest film in the MCU for the action sequences, the underlying story that feels very important in today’s age, and the acting. This steelbook is a great addition to the ones rolled out that share a similar design throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe films.

Captain America: Winter Soldier was finally made in-line with the same quality and style as the other Marvel movies. The storyline is also better developed, which allows this movie to move at a better pace than the previous installment of Captain America. The BEST BUY exclusive steel book packaging is pretty cool. The only down side was ordering this online vs picking up in-store to visually inspect and select my copy before purchasing. The one I received was not up to par with what I would expect for the quality in manufacturing this type of packaging and for the price I paid (the binding was off center). But otherwise, if you're not a perfectionist, then I would recommend this product from Best Buy ...even with it's minor flaws :)

This movie is where the MCU peaked and remains the best piece of cinema in the franchise. It has all of the soul of the comic books with the trappings of a modern action film. The performances are solid and consistent and the mystery unfolds in the most captivating of ways.

This second installment in the Captain America series was up to all the hype it generated and even better than the first one. It had plenty of action sequences, expanded on the original plot, and even explained how Shield was compromised by Hydra. It linked Captain America more firmly with the Avengers team members, such as Nick Fury and Black Widow. All in all very entertaining and enjoyable.

This sequel movie was as good and even better than the first movie as it tied into other Marvel movies and the Agents of SHIELD television series. There's a lot of action but not so bad where it wouldn't be recommended for young viewers. Big name actors and actresses make the flow of the movie smooth and more palatable. This is another "keeper" movie especially for the Marvel Universe fans!
