This is a must own for any Marvel movie fan! As someone that actively keeps up with all of the Marvel movies, I would say that this is probably my favorite out of the whole series of movies. I love CAP in general, but this movie had a great thriller feel to it as well as one of the best action scenes to start a movie that I've ever seen. I highly recommend it!

Captain America Winter Soldier is one of the best Marvel movies. It is a great combination of superhero movie and political thriller that gives it something other superhero movies don't have. Chris Evans is always great as Captain America and Sebastian Stan's gave an amazing performance as the Winter Soldier expressing so much with so few words.

This is another great chapter in the Marvel Universe, following up the Captain's debut with non-stop action and intrigue. The blu-ray edtion is awesome - I passed on the 3D version after seeing it doesn't really add much to the experience for me. Unless you want that version to get the digital copy, this is all you need. Too bad Marvel breaks up some titles this way in distribution.

This is an excellent follow up to the first C.A. movie which you need to watch to understand the story of this one. The Avenger tie-ins add to the plot and the action is well balanced through the whole movie. Once in a while the 3D effects look strange but the most of the time the depth is fantastic (the flying scenes). If you like the Marvel movies this is a must-add to your collection.

Great movie. Acting was on par. Chemistry between Chris Evans and SebastianStan is amazing, both as friends and foes. Anthony Mackie welcome to the Marvel Cinematic Universe! Scarlett Johansson is always a treat as Black Widow. Samuel L. Jackson is becoming more and more the shadowy super spy Nick Fury. Frank Grillo is a scene stealer, as well. And Robert Redford, tops it all off nicely.

I wouldn't consider this so much of a super hero movie as I would an excellent spy thriller. Set against a backdrop of assassination and intrigue, this is a fast paced action thriller that easily held my attention and stays fresh after repeated viewings. Even if someone isn't into the Marvel universe, there is a movie in here easily enjoyed by all.

I bought the 3D blu-ray/2D blu-ray/DVD/Digital combo. Movie - Great script, acting, & cinematography. Both bonus scenes hint toward future marvel movie storylines. Bonus Features - Informative commentary + several behind-the-scenes featurettes. Other Extras - Digital comics + opportunity to buy exclusive and overpriced (in my opinion) plush Cap, Falcon, or Winter Soldier from Marvel.

this sequel was great in the story line and the continuing Captain America and the organization of Shield. True to form the movie was fluid in the telling of the story. It followed each angle and placed the varying events of each character in juxtaposition so that you could piece together the plot and get the most out of the movie. I really enjoyed it and watched it again the next day.

I had originally held off from Captain America movies as I loved Marvel but did not care for Captain America. (Chris Evans) but this movie I really became a huge fan. This movie was action packed with a great story and very good acting. by everyone in the movie I loved it! and wished for more.

This sequel was much better than the original and yet it kept its wholesomeness. This Captain America is even more wholesome than The recent Superman. In the Avengers, CA was almost a joke at the beginning, yet he was the glue that binded the team in the end. In the sequel, he is even more likable and a great leader to follow even in the midst of his personal turmoil. Two thumbs up!!!

Ever since I watched 'The Avengers - Infinity War' I've had a renewed desire to watch all the Marvel Studios movies in chronological order. I definately recommend getting all these movies and rewatching them. There are so many things I missed the first time watching! Don't forget to watch all the credit and wait until the very end!!!

I love Marvel comics but when they introduce it to film, their could be a major disappointment in its success. This film was NOT one of their disappointments. Captain America 2 is a great continuous of part 1 and the following of Avengers 1. I would highly recommend this movie especially since my wife (who is not a big Marvel fan) who absolutely loved it and can't wait for part 3.

One of the best movies of the year and one of the best Marvel films so far! The story is great, the action exciting and suspenseful! Great cast as well! The picture quality and sound quality are top notch. Unfortunately its pretty light on extra features. The steelbook packaging is great. Love the cover art and inside art, also the debossing of the title looks great too! Buy it!

The story lines continue to be excellent, weaving throughout the Marvel Universe. The acting is everything we have expected, consistent performances from all. The 3D is very good as it is with the other Marvel offerings, it's worth getting 3D player/TV just for these movies alone. A must have for the Marvel fan and a great movie to get others interested in the series.

As I wasn't able to catch this movie in the theaters, I'm glad I spent the money to pre-order the movie. The plot was engaging and the pacing of the film (from start to end) went by quickly for a 136 minute movie. On the Beovision 11, the picture quality of the blu-ray movie was sharp. The 3D was very much appreciated as it did lend a great deal of depth to many scenes. Can not comment on the audio quality as I was unable to turn up the volume to an appreciable volume to experience many of noteworthy action scenes (it was late at night and family was sleeping). Regardless, I do "Recommend" the movie - look forward to replaying it for many of my friends and relatives who failed to see it in the theaters.

Was able to purchase the steelcase edition even though none were on the shelf. A Best Buy employee checked behind the register and found an extra one. A very fun movie with a great mix of action, comedy and storyline. I just wish they would have offered a Blu-ray/DVD combo. I like Blu-ray quality but also like to have a DVD version for when I travel. The 3D/Blu-ray/Digital seemed like the best option but the 3D is pretty useless since I have no desire to purchase a 3D TV. Plus it was the only way to get the steelcase. It seemed worth it to me to spend the extra $5 over the Blu-ray only to get a digital copy and steelcase. Now I just need to find someone with a 3D setup so I have a use for the 3D disk.

I knew this movie was going to be pivotal to the marvel cinematic universe, but other than that I wasn't really expecting much from it. I was definitely wrong. The action sequences were much more dynamic than I expected and the story wasn't just the plot-by-numbers sort of thing I thought the movie would present us with. The straight up hand to hand combat scenes were extremely well done and a nice change of pace from what we usually see in super hero movies. And, despite what you may have heard, Black Widow does a lot more in this movie than just act as Cap's sidekick. Overall one of the better marvel movies. The extra's are what you would expect: outtakes, deleted scenes, vignettes.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier has been my favorite MCU movie since I first saw it in the theater and it remains my favorite to this day. Exceptional picture and sound make my living room explode with awesomeness. And the SteelBook case looks great on my shelf. I couldn’t be happier!

This ranks right up there with Iron Man 1 and GotG on my list of best MCU films. Winter Soldier is an intense political thriller featuring Captain America as the main character. The events in this film reverberate through the whole MCU. The special features on the Blu-Ray are top notch and anyone who enjoys director commentaries will love the track provided by the Russos.

Movie has everything the other marvel movies have, which is a good thing - action, humor, all around solid film making. This one in particular hits you with a big twist if you are unfamiliar with Captain's comic canons, which adds even more to the mix. Last movie before avengers 2 but it is no setup movie, instead a great stand alone film in the ever expanding marvel cineverse
