This movie continues the story of Steve Rogers as he learns to adapt to living in the 21st century and figuring out who he can trust. He's no longer a soldier and having a hard time figuring out exactly what he should be doing. Mix in some incredible action sequences and plot twists that involve the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe and you've got one terrific movie.

This isn't just a great Marvel or super hero movie, it is a great film in and of itself. One of those rare action films that means something and can be taken seriously. Add to the fact that this movie changes the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe and all Marvel films to follow must adhere to the events here and this movie becomes important too. In one word, awesome!

This movie was amazing. If you want a movie that reminds you of a 1970's spy thriller, this is the movie for you. It'll grab your attention from beginning to end... and the scenes with Sam Wilson are wonderful! Also, Bucky Barnes truly needs all the hugs in the world. Poor Bucky. Grab this movie for movie night and prepared to enjoy it along with your friends.

I have to say, Marvel really stepped it up with Captain America; The Winter Soldier. The events in this movie change the Marvel Cinematic Universe to a great extent and the action is non-stop. Not only are the changes dramatic in the MCU, it also helped revive the Agents of Shield TV show. The only other Marvel movie that beats this one is Guardians of the Galaxy!

Captain America: The Winter Soldier combines the best of spy-action thrillers and adds just a little science fiction / superhero genre to keep the plot cohesive, yet not always predictable. Excellent special effects. Great acting. Great character development. Above all, a great message to take home: How much freedom will you give away for the promise of security?

Captain America The First Avenger might be Marvel's weakest origin movie. Captain America Winter Soldier is by far it's best sequel, and actually, in my opinion it's 3rd best movie. The action and suspense keep you engaged from start to finish. The effects are top notch. The actor's are in it to win it. It's a great movie period.

I thought this was a great second movie. I thought that it even brought in parts of the story from the other Marvel movies as well. It seemed to keep me entertained throughout and I did not feel there were any low points. The action was great and like Stan Lee's other Marvel movies the story was left open to continue in other Marvel franchises or for number three.

As a fan of Marvel comics and the Cinematic universe, I have dreaded the moment when we are finally delivered a bad Marvel movie. This is not that movie. The Captain is a great character, and seeing him kick butt yet again is time well spent. One thing i love about this movie is how it also ties to the Agents of SHIELD television show. Once again Marvel shows mastery is tying all of the elements of the burgeoning cinematic universe together. You don't have to be a fan of the comics to enjoy this new world because it builds its own history. Action fans are going to love the set pieces and stunts. All around this movie is just fantastic. Sit back, grab some popcorn, and enjoy!.

As would be expected this is yet another installment of Marvel's Universe. Good solid entertainment with all the characters you've come to know and love. If you're into the genre then you'll like this movie. If you're not then don't get it. If you want a fun evening watching far fetched outlandish no where near the real world antics then this will not disappoint!

It's good to see many of yesteryear's Marvel characters brought into the story. Nick Fury etc. Also good to see Robert Redford as a baddie. The story picks up after Steve Rogers (Captain America) wakes up 60 years later and finds new threats menacing America. He also finds new comrades to face these challenges, and learns who to trust. I Have not watched the 3D version yet but it should be spectacular. The drawback is that the price for this movie has stayed consistently high even though it' was out in 2014. I would have liked to have seen it sooner especially with Captain America Civil War the most recent movie now out.

I have enjoyed almost all the Marvel movies released in the last decade, but Winter Soldier is definetly on my top 5 list. At times I forgot I was watching a superhero movie, it felt more like a spy thriller. I was expecting more extra stuff on the blu-ray, but I still enjoyed watching what there is. This movie is for everyone, not just superhero fans like me.

This summer action flick was the first out the gate and it set the bar high! Well directed, well written. Who knew this directorial team of comedy writers could bring such depth and quality to an action picture. I can't wait for them to direct something else. Especially if they do CA3!

Captain America "The Winter Soldier" is one of my favorite Marvel movies to date! Its as good as The Avengers in my opinion. The 3D version is outstanding! Now I have every marvel super hero movie made in 3D to date! Best Buy always has the best prices and enough stock for everyone, although the location I shop at was selling them quick! So get your copy asap!

With small children - it's been tough getting to the theater when movies are released, so my wife and I have been filling in the 'blanks' so to speak with the Marvel Avengers movies. The Winter Soldier is a great piece of the series and while the first was necessary to lay the back story this chapter is very entertaining both in action and storyline.

Terrific 4K release. Cap 2 isn’t a very colorful movie, so don’t expect to be wowed by a wide variety of colors here, but everything is so crisp and detailed to the point where you can see the fibers on cap’s uniform. Would highly recommend.

In the second installment of Captain America: Winter Soldier, Captain Steve Rodgers leads a trio of heroes to defeat an unforeseen threat. The hits are harder, stunts are bigger and action more explosive. Not to mention the plot lines flow seamlessly and keep the audience engaged throughout the film. But don't take my word for it; check it our for yourself!

Loved this movie in the theatres I saw it 3 times. twice in 3d. The 3d in the theatres doesn't match up to what you get at home, not even close. I love my new tv it is a reason to buy movies again because you cannot get 3d at redbox. This movie hafantastic 3d. I recommend it to everyone that loves the marvel movies it is the best super hero next to Ironman.

One of the best Marvel adaptations put to film yet. I felt the original, while an origin story, was a bit hokey. This film really makes Steve Rogers a man out of time. Thrust into a world of political shadows, he faces multiple enemies from within and without. And when one of those enemies has a tie to his past, Steve has to make some impossible decisions.

Love the marvel films and this one is my least favorite in the series due to the story line. But the action is enjoyable. 4k is definitely much sharper than bluray and dvd copies I have. So it’s a good upgrade

I like that they chose to bring us up to speed on Bucky Barnes, but wonder if it wasn't too soon - I feel they still needed to develop Cap's character in this movie and maybe keep Bucky for the next one (and you KNOW there will be a 3rd right?). Saying that, they spent a lot of time on the backstory of Bucky and Steve but really didn't do enough to show how they are rejoined, just the fight at the end. I was hoping to see more of Bucky beginning to remember who he really was... Still, great movie all in all - highly recommend it!
