Captain America TWS usually sits high on rankings of MCU films and it certainly is important to the character and the broader Infinity saga setup that leaves the Avengers split apart and less equipped to tackle the existential threat of Thanos. Aside from its connecting role in the MCU, it's primarily a movie for the Cap lover. He's not my favorite but Chris Evans puts more charm into the character than we've ever seen in Steve in comics. A great steelbook 4k edition with one of the best posters donning the cover.

One of the best in the series in my opinion. An enjoyable and involving storyline, and visceral fight scenes makes this Captain America one of the best Marvel movies around. The 4k presentation brings the picture to a much tighter and crisper image. The audio does it's job.

This is the best Marvel effort yet, shot with a love for 70's paranoid thrillers and also owing lots to recent martial-arts masterpiece The Raid with the close-quarters fighting. Chris Evans is the perfect Captain America and the presence of Robert Redford as the heavy bolsters the entire production. Terrific action sequences in service of a solid story.

I'm a huge fan of the entire Avengers set - and this movie was among the best of them. Non-stop action, great effects, fun characters. Though you're probably not going to discover the meaning of life at any time while watching this movie, you'll have a great time. Best if watched chronologically with it's predecessors (Captain America and Avengers).

Did a lot of research before buying this model. The picture is excellent and the apps work very well. Streaming 4K Netflix was a breeze to set up. Sound could be better but I hooked up a sound bar and it worked well with a nice UI interface to add third party components. There is a little bit of light bleeding but overall it is minimal

Captain America: The Winter Soldier is an amazing film. It is a tight, well acted film that stands alone (although it helps if you've seen the first one and Avengers) but also has a fairly major impact on the broader universe of Marvel films. The visuals and sound quality are great. Extras are pretty lacking which is too bad. Love the steelbook format.

I loved the movie in IMAX getting it on Bluray was an obvious choice, plus you get either an iTunes or an Ultraviolet copy (unfortunately you can't get both). The special features are really awesome, gag reels and behind the scenes of one of the best action sequences from the film (elevator fight against Cap). Marvel always delivers with their blurays.

Winter Soldier continues the story of Cap as he acclimates to the present, and the reality of SHIELD being so counter to what we today think people during WW2 thought about the country they fought for. The action with Black Widow really steals the show and the extra features enhance the experience if you want to know about how the movie came together.

This is a great movie, my favorite superhero movie to date. I very much enjoyed this movie and it has a little of everything you'd want in a great superhero movie and then some. If you enjoyed any of the recent batch of superhero movies, do yourself a favor and pick this one up.

I thoroughly enjoyed this film...it was fantastic...it was thrilling and action packed...It was much better than the first one IMO...and it directly effects the Agents Of Shield TV series which has gotten better since the events that occurred in the film...The action of the movie is great and the suspense is even better...cant wait for the next one...

The first movie was one to establish the character and it was a good movie. This movie is as good if not better. It has some slow parts but has a good story line that ties in with first one. The action is good and so is the acting. The addition of the assistant good guy is a good character. Can't wait till the next one comes out to see where it goes.

This film shows just how versatile Marvel's brand is these days. Imagine Three Days of the Condor retooled as a superhero thriller for a modern audience, add in some hyper frenetic action set pieces, and rock solid acting and directing and you've got this. The disc has top notch picture and sound and a handful of extras (could always use more though)

Plain and simple, the movie was great and I loved the unexpected storyline. Honestly, never thought I'd be such a fan of Captain America but my wife and I were talking about the movie for a while after it was over. The plot was great, as were the characters as well as the CGI. Not going to go too in-depth, just going to say get it! You'll enjoy it!!!

I found the action sequences in this film to be extraordinary. I don't know Captain America's complete back story because I've never read a Marvel comic book in which he appears. Nevertheless, Captain America's close relationship with Black Widow was unexpected, and they definitely seemed to have "chemistry." I would have preferred the film's narrative to have focused exclusively on Hydra's infiltration of the U.S. government following WWII, and to have downplayed the tension between maintenance of national security and protection of individual privacy. After all, this film doesn't pretend to be a thoughtful treatise on 21st century global politics.

Saw this in IMAX, loved it! Awesome action sequences including chases and plenty of hand to hand combat and it introduces The Winter Soldier a.k.a Bucky Barnes. Also Sam Wilson, a.k.a. The Falcon is introduced and Robert Redford co stars. One of my favorite MCU movies!

as far as limited editions go, the steelcase version of winter soldier is worth the purchase. best cover of any of the printings. sadly doesn't come with dvd for those that are still future-proofing their video collections. the movie itself is excellent, packed with action and story-driven characters. a necessary piece to any marvel movie collection.

Captain America Winter Soldier has to be one of the most well made and entertaining of all the Marvel film franchise. I also enjoyed the Thor sequel. The sequels are knocking it out of the park. The blu ray is amazing to watch and exciting to follow. I highly recommend purchasing this blu ray title because it is worth the viewing experience. Enjoy!

It seems with the second Captain America film, Marvel has really hit their stride. This is a much more a spy thriller than a super hero movie, which is a very good thing. This approach makes the story, the films high point. With a very timely plot and great action sequences, (Scarlett Johansson, you ROCK!) this might be my favorite Marvel film yet.

my mother and I watched this movie together. We both agreed it was a fantastic movie. Lots of action great bad guy character. Had a fantastic plot and very good story behind the movie. Cannot wait for the next movie to come out of the series. Hope they have as good as a bad guy character in the next one, as they did in this one. Two thumbs up.

Second film in Capt. America series is excellent. Storyline is well scripted, lots of action and good continuity with other Marvel series. The Bluray looks awesome and the surround will blow you away. Little disappointed that I had to buy 3D version (more expensive) just to get the HD digital version as well. I do recommend this film, however.
