At the time Captain America hit theaters I thought not only was this a great superhero movie, but a great action thriller period. Of course Guardians of the Galaxy came out and upped the stakes for what a comic book movie should be, CA is arguably the best of the Marvel bunch.

The latest installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe doesn't disappoint. Continuing the grittier version of Captain America from The First Avenger, The Winter Soldier shows the Captain in a darker world where the lines between right and wrong can easily get blurred. This film shows how this kind of world can affect Captain America and how he reacts to the reality of the new world he joined during The Avengers. A great film from the writing to the direction to the acting. A must see for movie fans and for Marvel fans.

This is one of the best Marvel Studios movies I have seen. It is full of action, intrigue, and surprises. Very well written and played, plus the visual effects are awesome. This is a great movie to watch with your spouse/significant other, friends or family on a weekend night.

What more can I say about this well-written / directed movie? This Marvel movie has an excellent blend of Espionage, Action, Drama with some humor. This is more than just a "Super-Hero" movie! Hats off for everyone involved in the making / production of this movie! Well done!

Overall great comic book movie. One of the best Marvel movies out right now (Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Iron Man), although I enjoyed this more than Iron Man 1. What made me buy this is that it comes in a steelbook version. Must buy, but most likely all sold out now =(

Captain America films are always half-conspiracy, half action. This one is no different, and there are also many important plot points that tie into the "Agents of SHIELD" TV series. I consider it a must-watch, but it depends on your flavor of superhero movie.

The sequel is really well written. I love how the directors were able to bring both universes together from the tv series Agents of SHEILD with the Captain America franchise and tie up into a near little package. It's a good movie. Too bad they didn't kill of Samuel Jackson.

I love the movie its great to see with your family and friends. It has a lot of action. My kids love it and my husband too. Everyone enjoyed it very much my son also invite his friends from school to come and see. They enjoyed also. What mirw can I say it just a great movie.

We liked the first one, but this one went to another level. Possibly the best Marvel movie yet (but GotG is very close). Well placed humor, nice fight scenes, and ridiculously good special effects. The video and audio quality make this a reference disc to show off your toys.

The film was truly a great follow up not only to the Captain America: the First Avenger but to The Avengers as a whole. Great character growth for Steve Rogers and Black Widow, it was funny but not overly so. It had great action and twists. One of the best Marvel Movies yet.

Winter Soldier is way better than the original. The Winter Soldier is sure to be your favorite part of the movie. Great plot twist! The Blu-Ray itself comes with lots of behind the scenes extras for the die hard Marvel fan. Greatly recommend! 3D is also a great way to watch!

Marvel has outdone themselves again. Great writing, acting, cinematography, and so one. Though darker in tone than the previous Avenger's films, the sense of humor isn't lost. In addition, the film deals with the very timely topic of government spying programs and the like.

The movie is a little different from other Marvel films, a little more spy thriller, but I would argue this is part of what makes this film better than the others. The steelbook is beautiful, I would definitely recommend this to any fan of action movies or superhero movies!

This is my favorite Avengers movie. I love all the characters, and I loved the first Captain America, but the plot and character development of this movie is the best, and I usually reach for this one when I'm in a superhero movie mood. You won't regret this purchase!

It's not just a great comic book movie that adds to the expanding Marvel mythology, it's a thrilling action-adventure in its own right. Excellent, brisk pacing keeps you interested, and genuinely funny moments provide welcome relief from the intensity of the action scenes.

Captain America....what can I say. You let me down in begin but came out strong in Winter Soldier. Popcorn movie at its best. Fun, clever, and actions scenes are fresh. BluRay version comes with a lot of great add ons for the household nerd to the inner child in all of us.

I was very reluctant of seeing the second Captain America movie (how could it possibly compare to Captain America: The First Avenger?). Quite to my surprise and delight, it was just as entertaining with a suspenseful storyline. This is a must see for everyone of all ages.

My stomach is gurgling really bad, and the only remedy is more Avengers. Winter Soldier is an epic tale of a small pig on a farm that really wants to herd cattle. Great movie, but I didn't see a pig at all in it. Misleading title. Love, Seismicninja

This 2nd installment in the Capt. America series is even better than the first! Full of action, emotion and conviction, Capt. America finds his way in the modern world and forges his identity in helping to save it and defeat and overthrow a corrupt government official!!!
