Another great 4k movie to add to your Marvel collection!

After the attack on New York City Steve Rogers now works for shield at nations capital. With a conspiracy in the midst of their own ranks. Now joining forces with Black Widow and Falcon to expose the plot. Then the Winter Solider emerges a ghost from his past. This such an explosive fast moving paced ride full of action an intrigue. Doesn't miss a beat love this film.

Great movie to answer questions to the Marvel Universe.

Steel looks great but the PQ is not a huge improvement.

Lots action nostop great movie to watch during rain day

Not really a full on great upgrade from the standard blur-ray. The picture quality is just a bit better then the standard release and the HDR does a fine enough job. I think your main reason to get this is for the steelbook to go with the other matching steelbooks.

The movie is awesome and it looks and sounds great. I bought the steelbook edition and it looks amazing. The movie mixes the world of superheroes with a political thriller story. It harkens back to a lot of classic movie. There are some nice featurettes and an informative commentary track, but I feel there's a lot missing that will eventually show up in the Phase 2 box set down the line. However, this was a great purchase and an excellent additional to a fan's movie collection.

Captain America Winter Soldier is the best movie of the group of Avengers characters. It's better than Iron Man or Thor. It's very topical with government surveillance and intrusion being a central theme. There is no outlandish "super" bad guy as such, even though the Winter Soldier is a match for Cap. He is still just a man, with more in common with Cap than at first we know. It's almost a Jason Bourne type movie but with the danger turned up to 11. A must see for most anyone.

Good sequel of a superhero movie that is fun to see

I love the captain America movies because of the personal story of Steve Rogers...I love this move because he starts to see that all things aren't black and white and there's a gray area to loyalty to a friend and what you may believe is the right thing to do...he wants to help bucky even if he has to bend a few rules...he shows his personal struggles and I love it.!!

The special effects, the painstaking diligence to detail on this movie is amazing. Marvel seems to get better and better with each movie. I am so looking forward to the new Avengers movie. I have already pre-ordered Guardians of the Galaxy. (and I have NEVER done that before) And I expect that with the mega dollars that these movies have grossed (Thor, Cap and Iron Man) there will be more Marvel characters coming to the big screen, which I look forward to seeing and owning.

Sometimes, I'm a bit reluctant to see a sequel to another movie, especially if the prior movie was really good. I'm happy to say, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, is not only as good as the first movie, I think it's even better! The story picks up right after that told in The Avengers. I won't give anything away about the plot. Suffice to say, if you enjoy the Marvel universe, if you liked Captain America and the Avengers, you're going to enjoy The Winter Soldier, too!

This was a great Russo brothers introduction for us.

Three Days of a Condor meets Captain America and the geo-politics of Fear writ Large. In many ways the sequel exceeds the first movie and I loved it for its WWII sensibilities. A thoughtful message was embedded in all of that film action as often happens in the best comic book. There is a difference between justice and revenge; and there are values we must preserve in the face of terror and violence lest we become the very things we despise and more importantly fear.

Winter Soldier did not disappoint. It took Cap from WWII period piece to a 1970s-style (plus costumes and powers) espionage thriller while staying true to the core of the title character(s). That said, it also made excellent use of a strong ensemble cast, and could as easily have been titled 'Captain America and Black Widow and... the Falcon'. Everybody expected Sebastian Stan to shine in his role, and he did, but Mackie as the Falcon really stole much of the show.

The movie is great. The fact I only wanted a Blu-Ray with a digital copy is my only issue. Disney made sure that if you want a Digital you have to pay lots to get it!! You must get a DVD and a 3D disk also. This makes it legal to charge a huge sum. They are not offering what most other companies have. it is a blu-Ray or everything under the sun. So it gets a 5 because the movie is great. As for Disney monopolizing the situation. They would get a 1.

Better than the first Captain America by far. The supporting characters are just as real and well fleshed out as Cap himself. Natasha and Steve are great partners, and the fact that they never force a romance between them is refreshing. Sam Wilson, the Winter Soldier, Nick Fury...great supporting characters galore. The plot is intriguing and will certainly shake up the Marvel universe in the future. Also, the gag reel is hysterical. Chris Evans is a giant goofball.

For a superhero movie this had a very good storyline. No, its not perfect, but it builds on the first movie and sets up the third film. I enjoyed Nick Fury and Black Widow playing significant parts in the film. My favorite scenes included Falcon and Winter Soldier and the movie did a good job of giving everybody time to shine. i look forward to the third film and seeing how Captain America continues to adjust to the present times and holds on to his 1940's values.

Great story telling & action scenes are top notch.

Movies don't get any better than this. As far a superhero movies go, this is right up there with X-Men 2 for me. It was great to see Cap's code in modern times. They gave more screen time to Black Widow, who is not my favorite character, but it helped to make her a bit more likable. They made a Falcon for the times and made him very believable and they took the story somewhere I never expected them to go. It is just a flat-out great movie. I highly recommend it.
