Anyone who saw the movie knows how great it was. It's a much darker movie than the original and feels like a hybrid of superhero and political thriller. Good plot twists and the film stayed very true to its comic book roots. 3D was done very well and serves as an enhancement. The only thing missing from this package was a DVD copy, which would've been nice to have for riding in the car, but otherwise, no big deal. I love the steelbook cover and the fact that they gave a digital copy.

A great follow up to "...The First Avenger" that builds upon the events from both "...First.." and "The Avengers". The world has changed now due to super-human and extra-terrestrial involvement. The world is scared and S.H.E.I.L.D, which Cap now works for #and is helmed by a fantastic Robert Redford#, offers protection. Of course "all that glimmers" off of Cap's Star-adorned shield is not gold, but the silvery-metallic of the Winter Soldier's Star-adorned biotic left arm. Conspiracies, explosions, flying falcons,flying shields, talking computers, red hair and an eye-patch abound with tons of fun and entertainment. Also, #per Disney's norm# the 3D is fabulous if you do have 3D capability.

I always try to get the Steelbook editions Best Buy offers (except when they sell out instantly, as with GotG), and I lucked into this one long after the release date. But the movie far exceeds its limited-edition packaging. It's a good old-fashioned political thriller set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the stakes have never been higher. The action is first-rate, the performances are superb, and the consequences are devastating. This might be the best Marvel movie yet, and I say that as a huge fan of Guardians of the Galaxy and The Avengers.

Getting the Thor: The Dark World steelbook was kind of an accident. I got it the day it came out but I was not intending to get a steelbook. I really loved the exclusive. When Captain America: The Winter Soldier came out I knew I had to get it but sadly I was not able to go the first day. Luckily a store 25 minutes away had a copy because my local store was out. I consider myself very lucky to have gotten this at all since I wasn't there at open of release day. A dvd version would be nice to watch on my computer but the digital one makes up for it.

I am a huge captain america fan and this movie blew captain america the first avenger out of the water. It had amazing action scenes with a good plot to keep you intrigued the entire movie!

Great movie for marvel fans, this is when captain America gets good

Captain America: The Winter Soldier is not only a great sequel but perhaps the best standalone Marvel Studios film to date. Trust me, I don't say that lightly. I wasn't overly fond of the Captain's first feature, and my reaction to most of the Marvel Studios films has been mixed. With that in mind, coming out of the theater I have to say 'The Winter Soldier' isn't only a great superhero movie, a great standalone Marvel Studios film, but that Captain America: The Winter Soldier may even be better than The Avengers!

Ok, I love steelbooks but I usually only get them when they are cheap or I really love the movie. This is a best of all worlds situation. It's a great entry to the Marvel Universe, and actually surpasses the original Cap movie and that was a solid flick too. This one also adapts several things fans of the modern comics will recognize and pulls everything off very well. The limited edition steelbook is literally the icing on the cake to look as good on the shelf as the movie does playing on your screen.

I'm a DC Comics fan and I love Supes and Bats. The Avengers and Iron Man made me get into Marvel stuff. While I think Cap is a cool character, I was never into him, even though he resembles Supes here and there. Well this movie blew me away! The first Cap was so,so but only because it's a period piece. This movie had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Government conspiracies and comic book movies go hand in hand nowadays and this one takes the cake. Excellent!

I'm not going to lie, I drove over an hour to a Best Buy store that had this Steelbook. Was it worth it? Maybe not, but it depends. If you're a collector for this type of stuff, then it's definitely worth it. This is actually part of a gift for my boyfriend. We have an active 3D T.V. so it's nice to have 3 options (regular, Blu-Ray, 3D) in 1 DVD. It's our favorite superhero movie thus far. We'll see if the next Avengers can top this one.

For fans of Marvel Studios films, it doesn't get much better than Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The action is great, and the moral question at the center of the film (security vs. civil liberties) makes it a deeper movie than your standard superhero fare. The steelbook case is also absolutely stunning if you can get your hands on one. Easily one of the best looking steelbooks in my collection.

Great movie, much better than the first Captain America in my opinion. I really wanted the Blu-ray steel book available only at Best Buy because my previous Marvel movies are in a steel books as well and it'd be cool to have a nice set. Regardless, the Blu-ray looks phenomenal and the extra features (as with all Marvel movies) are more in depth compared to many other movies on the market.

Wow. Just wow. This movie is great. It has a different kind of tone that hasn't been used before in previous Marvel movies and it upped the stakes and took huge risks. The action was intense. This isn't your average superhero movie. It shows that not all superhero movies have to be, "There is a villain now take him out." This movie is definitely one of the best in the MCU.

Winter Soldier is better than the first Captain America (Which was Good) and really expands the character and the role SHIELD plays in the Marvel Universe. Way better than Ironman 3 in terms of story development. Chris Evans is entertaining and pairing him up with SJ's Black Widow helped in the female chemistry department. Time well spent in the Marvel Universe of characters.

This movie was by far better than the first Captain America. I felt with the first one they rushed it so that they could have Captain American out before Avengers. This movie they took their time with it and had a great story along with a great balance of action and story scenes. Graphics were incredible all around this movie was spectacular. Great for all ages!

Marvel movies are different because in a way they are all sequels (even the stand alone films). So it isn't completely wrong to think of Captain America 2 really as the 8th film in the Marvel franchise and when the 8th film is the best to date (and then topped by the 9th film - Guardians) that says something about the quality. Must own for all Marvel fans.

One of the definitive movies in the Marvel cinematic universe! If you ever thought Capt. America wasn't that much of a super hero, this movie is going to prove you wrong. Great story, and interplay between the characters. Events in this movie spiral out to other movies and TV, so good to watch to keep up on the "story" of the MCU.

Personally, I think the Winter Soldier is one of the 2 or 3 best movies that Marvel has put out. It has that classic superhero feel along with more than a few twists and turns. After all, this movie was the turning point for Marvel's new storylines, and it definitely shook up the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

I admit that this movie its even better than avengers! the thriller and spy action movie was awesome. this movie was made for a more mature audience and Im very glad for that because Iron man 3 and Guardians of the galaxy were Comedy/ action movies but Captain america have a great story full of action and a good story.

Awesome movie got it at a great price. cause of a sale best buy was having. this is where i buy all my blu-ray dvd's cause it's the only place where after so many purchase's I get a award for my next purchase. Also as far as the movie goes it's action packed and everything you'd expect from marvel'
