I was expecting to be Wowed since I had heard that this film was crucial for Avengers: Endgame. I was not. It still is an okay movie, but it wasn't as much of a plot device as we were led to believe.

Packaging: I ordered this online but it came with no slipcase; the store gladly exchanged it for another copy in the store that did have a slipcase. Pricing: Got this on a black friday fire sale - happy to own it. Movie: I enjoyed this movie - better than I expected. It was good to see the backstory on Fury and Agent Colson. I originally watched it on Amazon Prime as a rental in SD resolution so glad to own the HD version now.

Definitely not the best Marvel film. The cast was good the scoring was great but it just felt rushed especially as an introduction to a character. That and it turned Nick Fury into comedy relief.

Arrived a few days before release-date but the slipcover was damaged. Movie itself is alright. Not exactly the Carol Danvers movie I wanted, and it doesn't have an ending, but it's not totally unwatchable.

I really enjoyed this movie. At first I was skeptical based on reviews by others, but bring a Marvel fan, I had to give it a shot, and was really glad I did. Brie Larson did a fantastic job as lead character. I also enjoyed Samuel L. Jackson in his role. The 4K video presentation was excellent as was the sound. I’m still running a 5.2 audio system (not Atmos) and was very happy with the sound.

It was a bit confusing for me in the beginning and hard to follow but in the end the story came together. I didnt enjoy as much as the other Marvel movies but will watch again. Entertaining for 2 hours.

Not my favorite MCU film, but it's certainly above average, which is saying a lot since all the MCU films are good to great. Captain Marvel serves as a good origin story, and there are some twists along the way. Action is entertaining mixed in with some emotional drama and comedy. Best part is this movie is also an origin story for Nick Fury, who usually plays a more minor or cameo role in other MCU films. The only disappointment is the steel book case was slightly cracked from the inside, but nothing to cry about.

Captain Marvel is an excellent movie. Brie Larson does a great job at her role as Captain Marvel. Besides her beauty, she shows herself being able to stand with any other veteran actor in terms of her character portrayal. I had never heard, knew of, or had read any comic books with Captain Marvel in them before, but I was glad I watched this. A great story in the Marvel Universe. A must see!

Unfortunately for this movie, it has to be compared to the rest of the Marvel movies and while good, isn’t great in any way. Mostly bought for my daughter and to keep the Marvel collection complete.

Outside of The Dark World, I think this is the weakest of the Marvel Movies. Wooden performance by the lead character is the main reason why. Samuel Jackson's part was far more entertaining.

i didnt see this movie in theaters because of reasons. after i purchased it and finally watched it. its only an ok movie you can skip this one it doesnt add anything to the MCU other than skrulls

I dig the plot and its got a decent amount of action. Her origin story is interesting, but wasn't very compelling. Brie's performance felt a little lackluster. BUT, it was still entertaining.

I was skeptical when this first came into theaters as I didn't follow the character much as a kid. I wasn't sure how they could make a story resonate with fans that don't necessarily know the character. But I was hooked on this movie in the first 15 minutes. Tons of action and fun, along with a great origin story for the Captain Marvel movie franchise. Definitely watch and/or buy if you are a Marvel fan.

Movie lacked memorable moments. Still a goof family movie. And new we know her and what she's capable of. Steelbook looks great next to my other steelbooks. Digital code was sold in 5 minutes.

I did not know much about Captain Marvel. I was very pleasantly surprised with this new superhero- even though technically she has been around for sometime. The movie definitely had some surprise twists, and certainly did not disappoint. Very well placed between Avengers End Game and Infinity War. The blu-ray enhanced the visual effects as compared to DVD. Marvel does not disappoint and definitely delivers.

This is probably my least favorite Marvel movies. Something is just "off" with this one. It's hard to describe. It is worth watching though. But other recent Marvel movies blow this one away.

The movie wasn't anything new or outstanding. Typical Disney/Marvel/Lucasfilm writing, screenplay, and cinematography. It's not a bad movie, its just very predictable and it feels recycled.

The weakest of the Marvel offerings, but certainly worth the time. Like all Avengers/Iron Man/ Captain America movies, this one advances and adds to the final installment: Avengers End Game.

Thought this would be a good action movie, but it turns out it's more or less just ok. Sound and video quality is very good, but story line could have used a whole lot of improvement.

I don't know why people are so down on Brie Larsen. I thought she did a fair enough job with the role, as written and she's certainly pretty enough. I honestly don't know what people expect of a comic book on film. Aside from Heath Ledger's great performance as the joker, we're not going to see oscar winning performances from this genre. (Last year's Joker seemed mostly a look inside of the psychosis, neurosis, and angst of Joaquin Phoenix , rather than a movie role of the joker IMHO and I didn't care for it)
