I was again skeptical about another Avenger being introduced to this universe but in the end the creators made it work again! Especially after watching all the Avenger movies tied together it all makes sense and works seamlessly. I highly recommend this addition to the Marvel franchise as Brie Larson is a likeable and perfect performer for this character!

Captain Marvel is a special treat. It gives us three origin stories for the price of one. We see Carol Danvers become one of the most powerful superheroes in the MCU, and we see the beginnings of Nick Fury and Agent Phil Coulson. The action never stops. We get a look back at the 80s. And best of all, we meet Goose. This is a fun film for the whole family.

Captain Marvel is a fantastic movie. It has all the features that make a very entertaining movie: riveting plot, great characters, lots of action and believable special effects, good acting and a transitional story that sets up for a sequel. There were no slow parts to the movie and it was enjoyable from start to finish. I would definitely recommend this movie.

I read a couple of episodes of Captain Marvel when I was a kid. To say the truth, I never was too in into this. But after seeing the movie, it realy woke my interest up on her. I hope a new movie comes with more of her histories. And my kids, simply, love her. The Disc has lot of cut scenes, and other features that you won't see anywhere else. It was worth.

My family and I really enjoyed this movie in the theatre and immediately looked forward to buying it on disc + digital. We are big fans of the MCU and think Captain Marvel is a great character and adds a lot to the overall story. I was a little disappointed that there weren't more bonus features (I miss the Marvel One Shots!), but the movie itself was great.

I thought this was in the top 5 of all the Marvel movies. However, there were a few continuity issues I saw (no spoilers - but watch this then go back and watch the 1st Avenger movie). You will see several "reverse aging" characters in this movie, some done better than others. I'm looking forward to the next installment of this and the next Dr. Strange movie.

Captain Marvel may not be in the same class as the Avengers movies or Captain America: Civil War, but it does hold its own in the Marvel Universe. If you have been watching Marvel's Agents of Shield, you will already know about the Kree. Captain Marvel does a nice job of telling the Kree-Skrull conflict in the beginning that sets up lots of the action that follows in the movie. The movie is not essential to an understanding of Avengers; Endgame, but it is useful.

Captain Marvel as an amazing movie within the Marvel Cinematic Universe Franchise. This movie shows the origin of Captain Marvel. This movie has a lot of surprises to it which helps set up the next movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Franchise, Avengers: Endgame. The collectible steelbook case is really nice with great cover art and inside the case art.

In welcoming a female hero to the big screen as the centerpiece of her own film, Marvel Studios has an expansive and fun hit on its hands. And because our comic book heroine has to remember her past, you won't easily forget this fun, milestone movie. There could not have been a better choice for Captain Marvel than Brie Larson -- she lights up the screen.

Better than expected movie, fun action - definitely recommend

Captain Marvel is a great super hero background story that blends into the Marvel universe storyline. Brie Larson is perfect as Captain Marvel, embracing her lost memories and letting her human emotions of helping others makes her even more powerful. Great back story of Fury and Coulson as well. Marvel’s cinematic universe just keeps getting better!

Based on the previews I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. Lots on content with Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson) and Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg), lending some lighthearted moments to the movie. Find out how Fury got his eye patch! A worthy addition to your Marvel collection.

The movie is amazing and Brie Larson is a fantastic addition to the Avengers cast. As expected of a Marvel film, it hits all the right notes of comedy, seriousness, and superhero feels - especially the end. I went ahead and got the steelbook because it gives the movie an extra special feel. If you have the money, get the steelbook. You won't regret it!

Captain Marvel is actually a decent movie and its steelbook is quite nice. I wish the artwork was reversed because the back artwork is much nicer than the front (advertised in the picture). Overall I thought I would be disappointed with this release, but its actually quite good. If you are an MCU collector then obviously you will be buying this already

I love steelbooks and jumped at the chance to add this to my collection Marvel/Disney seems to be listening to consumer feedback and improving their audio mix for their newer food lame. Audio and visual presentation for this feature are great! Just don’t expect great variety in the color range. As HDR presentations go, this one is good, but not Marvelous. More so the result of the film’s cinematography than the video transfer. Definitely worth picking up!

This is a visually stunning movie as is typical for marvel. Great to see the strong captain marvel female character brought to life on the big screen. Brie Larson is entertaining, and does an excellent job portraying her. As a cat owner the ‘cat’ scenes are hilarious for me. Best Buy provided a great shopping experience and was reasonably priced.

While the quality of the film feels closer to the early days of the MCU, this is still a great addition to the series, with an empowering message, and light-hearted tone. I wish the artwork was flipped, but the steelbook looks great, and will fit in wonderfully with the rest of your collection. For fans of the Marvel film series, this is a must own.

We're big fans of Captain Marvel and were concerned that the movie wouldn't hold up in comparison -- but it absolutely did. The movie had just the right balance of serious storytelling and humor to keep you entertained the whole way through, and the really well-executed twists keep you on your toes. Another great superhero flick from Marvel!

I bought the 4K/Blu-ray/Digital copy set even though we don't have a 4k player yet. The Blu-ray disk worked perfectly and I had no issues redeeming the digital code. The movie itself was awesome and I look forward to watching it again. I'm not a fan of the political views of the actress but I enjoyed her portrayal of Carol Danvers in this movie.

Whether you believe in superhero fatigue or not (and why would you), Carol Danvers origin story set in the 90's adds an entry into the Marvel canon that will delight old fans and new while advancing the larger narrative at play. While not essential viewing before Avengers: Endgame, it will make the finale to the first three phases all the sweeter.
