I loved it, Marvel could do no wrong. Captain Marvel had a lot of world, and character building to do. That is why I think most did not enjoy it, and wanted a huge firework spectacle. As a comic fan i know that phase 4 is building up to Secret Invasion. This for me was an awesome crossover and cant wait to see it on the big screen.

For being another origin film by Marvel, it doesn't feel like a rehash of every other organ we've seen so far. Captain Marvel had a lot of great twists that had lasting effects and some pretty high stakes that made the movie feel more impactful. Acting is great, Skrulls are SO good! Check this movie out you won't be disappointed

For marvels first solo female hero movie it didn't disappoint. It explained her origins and then finished off right after the events of infinity war. Marvel and Disney have their ducks in a row when it comes to these movies and Captain Marvel is a really good movie that should be seen to understand the whole infinity wars saga.

Was it the best Marvel movie?.....no But it entertained me and added to the MCU Brie Larson has a certain quality in this movie that I can't put my finger on but makes her very watchable. Also you can tell she is very comfortable onscreen with Samuel L Jackson..... there is a great chemistry between the two The packaging is the usual high standard you get with steelbooks If you have collected the rest you should pick this up

Intelligent and powerful . . . Women and movie both. Sure it's a superhero flick with the usual superficial plot, but it goes beyond the story line just enough to encourage us all to recognize the potential of women. Great effects without becoming just another CGI film. And of course, you have to watch it before End Game. Enjoy.

Ive been a fan of the mcu since iron man back in 2008. out of all the mcu movies this is not my favorite but i did find it enjoyable. out of all the things i did like about the movie the only part i didnt like was the main actress. her character was very wooden, not much doth to her character. but everything else with the supporting cast i loved. i also liked it gave some small backstories to things like nick fury and the kree.

I wasn't terribly impressed with the film, and felt it was muddy in several areas. However, I still like the character and really look forward to what they can do with her in the upcoming films in the MCU. The Transfer and Content look pretty good, too! As always, I wish Disney would stop dialing down their audio tracks for Home Theaters - but it's become a standard gripe, and no fault of this individual release.

What a pleasant surprise of a superhero movie! Lots of daring do and action, and some terrific space opera special effects. Good acting throughout, especially from Brie Larson as the protagonist. Solid supporting characters also in this latest Marvel comics saga. Finally, a film with solid female characters. Highly enjoyable.

As soon as I watch an MCU movie in the theater, I head to Best Buy to preorder their steelbook edition of the movie, because not only do the movies rock, contain all the additional features and things like that, but the packaging is top notch and the steelbook case is a collector's "must have"! Captain Marvel is no exception!

We are fans of the movies despite never having read the graphic novels, but we loved this one. The grunge soundtrack and 90s timeline was fun, too, and it was pretty hilarious how they filled in some backstory with the Fury eyepatch. Saw the Kree reveal coming, but that was not a problem--we knew they were baddies from GofG1

It has great action and special effects, with a nice, uplifting story with the right amount amount of humor. There are a lot of negative fan reviews out there that are unfair. The acting is good, the message of the movie is not over the top, the main character is a great role model that is well performed by Brie Larson. There are a lot of things going on that might have better served by spreading out into two movies.

It took a while for MCU to introduce a strong female hero in a lead role. Black Widow and Wasp are great they were not the lead characters in any of their films. Fortunately their roles have expanded and grown in stature over time, and now MCU has taken the step of introducing Captain Marvel and it was a great introduction combining terrific action and background, and sprinkled with the right amount of humor and insight.

This movie is... not great. But, it’s not terrible either. It’s watchable. It deserves some of its criticism. Some criticism is overblown. It has some fun moments. I will say this... the Stan Lee cameo, if you get the reference, is the best part of the movie, and easily earns this movie the 4th star I gave it that I may have hesitated around 3 otherwise. I’m a completionist, and a collector, so it’s on my shelf.

This movie is another that's better the 2nd or 3rd time viewing at home. Saw in the theater and thought it was ok, and kinda agreed Brie was "flat" Rewatching to pay attention to the actual acting, she totally nails the 90s cynical girl-power attitude. The 4k is fine, there's not a ton of cgi in this one until the end.

I didn't know much about Captain Marvel, so I didn't have much to go on. But the movie was great! There wasn't really any slow spots in the movie. Plenty of action! I loved her because she has such a dry humor. She was cast perfectly as Captain Marvel! Plus I loved the 80's music!!! I've seen this several times already!

I really liked this film. I think a lot of people dislike it because they may not know much about or like the leading actress or the character ‘Captain Marvel’ herself. This gives an interesting point of view as far as an origin story of any hero. Additionally, this movie sheds a light on concepts of Feminism and Identity.

This is only our second 4K movie on our new TV. Wow. The whole family loved this movie. The graphics were awesome and the cinematography was excellent. The storyline was very good and had a couple of twists. Overall we thought it was a good movie. Hopefully there will be more Marvel movies in the future. RIP Stan Lee, RIP

It was entertaining and put the spot light on a female actor in a leading role. All the extras to make a Marvel feature movie were included. The big thing is to see the lead being a woman, rather than a man. The fighting scenes were great as was the extras for the behind the making of the movie. Well worth to see or buy.

Great products in general! Now that streaming has become a mainstay in forms like Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Hulu, etc. the old school packaging companies have really stepped up what’s included in the 4K. You get a 4K, a Blu Ray, often a DVD, and a Digital copy code for virtual libraries. It’s the best of both worlds.

An amazing addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Captain Marvel is a gem! Brie Larson is just sassy enough in an understated way to carry off the role without being over the top. Sam Jackson is a treasure, and the twists that arise in this movie are perfect! Definitely a must-have for any Marvel fan!
