I know this movie caused a little division amongst MCU fans, but I'm a Captain Marvel defender. I really enjoyed this film, and I liked Brie Larson in it. Samuel L. Jackson brings a lot of fun, and the de-aging work done on him is incredible. I won't say this was a perfect movie, but it's a must watch for any MCU fan.

Marvel sure knows how to show a movie-goer a good time. This is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but you don't really have to have watched ALL of the other movies before this one. It's kinda like a prequel to most of them. All in all, a lot of fun, a nice looking steelbook, and a recommended movie. Can't go wrong!

With any origin story, comes the responsibility of introducing us do the character. We were taken on such a fun ride with Carol and Fury, learning their backgrounds and how they began our Avengers story. The gag reel, deleted scenes, and featurettes are all entertaining. Highly recommended, especially to Marvel fans!

When I heard about this character having her own film my first thought that this was definitely jumping the shark. This character is lesser known and her origin story is mediocre. I went to the theater to support it for I am team marvel. I didn't hate it and it fits into the Infinity War drama. I did purchase it and it was entertaining. I don't think a Marvel head would be terribly disappointed.

Honestly, it could have been terrible and I would have bought it for my collection. But it was a good entry, not the best, but good. The story was not entirely predictable. Acting is decent. My only problem is Carol Danvers doesn’t really earn the same respect that Black Widow, or Scarlett Witch. It tries to hard to send a message. It needed to just be a good movie without agenda and it would have been excellent.

This is a great movie, we are Marvel fans, and have all of the movies, and each movie is like a puzzle, so if you have not seen any Avengers movies watch them from the beginning of the series or it wont make any sense.. over all this was a great movie, and we saw it 8n 3D at the theater. Great special effects also

Another MCU hit for Marvel studios. Captain Marvel is a very good movie that sells yard in the story of this superhero. Although probably not top five movie, very integral to the overall Marvel cinematic universe that we all know in love. What could be better then Captain Marvel in 4K? Definitely worth the price.

Another great chapter in the Marvel universe and some fun backstory of characters we've known and loved. As great as the movie is and not to downplay it at all, one of my favorite parts is the small tribute to Stan Lee in the intro. Great battles, comics relief, 80s references, and Goose... what's not to love?

I've seen all the MCU so far and I have to say, this one was so fun, so cool, I loved it. My daughter has decided Captain Marvel may actually be cooler than Wonder Woman, which is huge (but not quite as cool as her favorite, Black Widow). I've seen this movie probably five times so far and it's good every time.

This steelbook might sound pricey but you are getting a lot for your $35. It comes with the 4K code, regular Blu-ray Disc, and 4K Blu-ray Disc. The movie is not for everyone but if you view it as a individual film it is pretty good. If you do not want the steelbook maybe wait for a sale on the original 4K copy.

What can you say about Marvel Studios, the movies are fun and add to a universe. I enjoy all of the Marvel movies and can re-watch them over and over. Captain Marvel adds to the universe, it is nice to see a confident female character. The actors were all great and I will re-watch this movie in 4K many times.

We liked it a lot. My only complaint was for the director...if you are going to put so much innuendo into lesbian interaction, then MAKE IT HAPPEN. It really seemed like he was going to do it, and then pulled back at the last moment. That lack of commitment felt like a cop-out and kind of ruined some of the movie for me. Ignoring that, the movie had lots of action and keeps you entertained throughout.

It’s nice to see a super heroine as there are too few that are title characters. Captain Marvel does not disappoint. Carol Danvers is a strong woman succeeding in a traditional male role and she is awesome. She kicks butt and takes names! If I was a little girl, I’d want to grow up to be just like her!

The cosmic MCU movies available in 4K really show the benefit of a 4K setup and Captain Marvel is no exception. Watching Captain Marvel go binary and seeing the Skrulls in action looks great in 4K. Despite being a divisive movie for whatever reason, this is one of the stronger MCU origin stories in my opinion.

If you buy a movie from the Avenger's series, there's a good chance you buy all the movies from the series. If you're going to do that, you might as well buy the best one out there. The Steelbook editions are great... they look awesome, and they include all the versions of the movie you're likely to want.

I watched it in the theaters and loved it. The 4K version looks amazing on my tv. Captain Marvel actually gives a good history of how Nick Fury started out with SHIELD and gives a great history lesson about the origins of Captain Marvel. It's a fun movie to watch over and over again. And that cat.......

It's great that Marvel Studios has FINALLY released an solo origin story with a female lead (Even though they should've done a Black Widow film a long time ago)! Not only is Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel kick-as but she is probably the strongest Avenger yet! Totally entertaining and fun for the whole family!

I waited for this movie to come out for some time..and when Best Buy posted it for sale, I pre ordered the 4k version right away. I think this is a great movie, even my wife sat and watched the entire movie without getting up after losing interest like she normally does when I pick a movie to watch!

The movie is a good, not great movie. I trust most have seen it and are only looking at this about the special features. I bought it to keep my MCU collection complete and to have the digital code as I’ve been keeping up with the MCU library digitally as well. Special features are OK, but nothing to brag home about. Good movie to have on blu-ray because Marvel movies have such good special effects.

These Marvel movies continue to impress with the best special effects imaginable, great intertwined character storylines, that culminated into a fantastic end-game movie. Don’t know what phase 5 will bring, but the MCU has been so extremely consistent with great movies, it has simply put DCU to shame.
