The MCU wouldn't exist in its current form without Iron Man and Thor, Cap. We get so used to the bigger and bigger boom of the the new MCU movies. It is such a treat to watch this one and remember the thrill of meeting someone NEW, and they did this one so well. Possibly my favorite MCU movie so far.

This is a great way to add to your collection! Wow with the details and time they took to make this book for everyone. I also love the options with having two different discs incase you might not have a 4k player. This also gives you a digital download code, so if you want to watch it on the go you can.

This is a pretty good Marvel movie. I had a fun time watching it even though it wasn't quite as exciting as some of the other recent entries in the MCU such as Thor Ragnarok or Black Panther. I think this one should've happened sooner, it feels more in line with the early solo films like the first Thor or Captain America. If you like the other Marvel movies you'll likely enjoy this one too.

Originally I thought this movie was going to be kinda boring but I had to watch it to be able to see Avengers end game and fully understand it. The beginning kind of dragged and to be honest had me a little confused but it actually turned out to be a good movie. Once it got into the action I was hooked!

It's very simple. If you've enjoyed the Marvel lineup since 2008's IronMan, you'll continue to be blown away with Captain Marvel. The storyline, much like Black Panther, ties in very specifically with the ending of MCU Phase 3, Without this one, the events in Endgame can't occur. 100% Recommended.

Captain Marvel is a lot of fun, and adds another solid title to the MCU. The problem is with Disney's current trend of crippling the audio on their home video releases. People spend thousands of dollars to put together home theater systems that can knock the house off its foundation, but Disney engineers their discs for playback on low-quality sound bars. It's an absolute shame.

It was a great movie but in my opinion they should have built her character up at the beginning of the movie, allowing everyone to get to know who she truly was, instead of starting the show with her already having powers. It would have allowed everyone to build a relationship with her and love and respect her as a person, not just as a hero. All in all, it was a really good movie though.

This movie has great characters, and sets a lot of groundwork for the future of the franchise, even if it does take place in the recent past. Many will point out that Captain Marvel was not a woman, and that simply does not matter. This is a great popcorn movie and anyone will enjoy it.

This movie is a fine origin story, with great performances from Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, and even Brie Larson. The story has much to be desired. It was as if the production team sacrificed creating a truly surprising and unique entry, for the sake of cramming an answer to feminist critics into a paint-by-numbers origin story. There's nothing wrong with the character or the concept, but everything developed here felt like it they had a response to every critique of the MCU's lack of diversity, rather than letting the character earn her standing in the narrative. Black Panther and Wonder Woman worked, not because their films waved a banner for a "cause", but because the filmmakers crafted excellent, unique story with visually captivating cinematography and surprising twists and turns. Those movies let the fans wave the banners (as all movies should). Captain Marvel's greatest ambition is to be the banner, and drop a few MCU and 90's Easter eggs to make us all go, so that where that came from blah blah blah. It does a fine job as a banner, just not the strongest entry into the MCU.

Great movie, great action, special affects and sound. I love the little details they took from the original comic books. In my opinion she's a little over powered but over all they did a great job bringing it to the screen! The extras in this package and how it looks in 4k makes it even better!

Captain Marvel was the last movie before Endgame, so it was a must see. It wasn’t as strong as other movies leading up to it, and was among the weaker or all the MCU movies. The movie won’t get a super high rating, but the Marvel steelbook packaging is always top notch, as well as the 4K picture quality. Can’t complain about those, just movie wasn’t as good as most other Marvel offerings.

I went in this movie with an open mind. I was pleasantly surprised and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson's friendship really shines through and is probably the best part of the whole movie. Look, if you like Marvel movies you should know what to expect and if you don't you're probably not reading this. So watch it and make up your own mind. Steelbook is great btw.

Not the best movie in the MCU not the worst either. I love Brie Larson in Room but not in this for some reason. There is something I get from Wonder Woman and Black Widow that I just don't get from her performance. It just doesn't stand out. Almost like a Mark Ruffalo or Don Cheadle stand alone Hulk or War Machine movie. But hey if you wanna catch up before you watch Endgame here ya go!

I saw Captain Marvel on the big screen (IMAX) and enjoyed it. Couldn't wait for it to be released on blu-ray. It was even better the second time around (with a pause button and closed captioning so as not to miss any of the quick dialog). The blu-ray is good and a welcomed addition to my video library (which, I'll admit, is a bit overloaded with sci-fi, fantasy, action and super-heroes).

If you haven't seen this by now and you have seen every other MCU movie that came before what are you waiting for? Get it buy it watch it love it! The steelbook Edition is great quality sound and picture as usual. my my only knock against it is that I wish there was a mini poster a little booklet something other than just packaging and the discs. Come on Best Buy step up your game!

Marvel has done it again, but this time the star is a woman. This was a great movie going into Avengers: Endgame. It is an origin story of Air Force pilot Carol Danvers and her transformation into Captain Marvel. Great script and awesome graphics. This is a must have movie for your collection.

So this one is another movie that falls in line with all the other Marvel superheroes but it is an origin movie so it is very engrossing. There are a lot of twists in this movie as she has flashbacks to another life on earth. Great movie and I love how it ties into all the other Marvel movies!

To tie the MCU up in Endgame. You simply had to have this movie and the explanations it provides. It did a great job and they had to do it in 2 hours and tie into the SHIELD series explaining the Cree as well. Wow. Marvel is really putting something together right for pure cinematic fans. 

Why can't Hollywood let their characters be who they are instead of trying to force how strong she is? This makes her come across as unlikable in this movie. You sometimes don't even cheer for her. This is easily the worst of the MCU cannon. Make genuine characters and let their actions speak for them. I would still recommend it, because it's MCU and you need to see it

The movie was pretty good. Not the best of the Marvel Universe but good, and necessary for other movies. The blu ray is great and the digital copy is a must have to watch on a tablet or phone on the go (stream anywhere or download) I do always enjoy the look backs from the marvel movies. Sometimes the back stories are forced but this one was enjoyable. Definitely recommend
