A fun movie, featuring Brie Larson as probably the most powerful Marvel Superhero yet! This origin story set in the 90s has a great soundtrack, features some old MCU favorites, and strikes a nice balance between action sequences and scenes played for laughs. Blu-Ray quality with plenty of extra features and the convenience of a digital copy to watch anywhere!

Captain Marvel was different and necessary it destroyed limitations for thinking I box, The Character and unique story line allowed the audience to think further about a hero and commitment , The action and special effects were awesome and more than I could have imagined.

The movie is well worth the price; quality of the merchandise was excellent. It's popular and highly anticipated; very hard to find any on the shelves; buying it online from Best Buy was a good experience. Everything from choosing the format to shipping was easy and reliable.

I have been a Marvel Studio fan since the first Ironman movie. And this is not the greatest Marvel movie, but it is still a Marvel movie and you won't be disappointed. I got this to complete my collection for Phase III and before the finale - Avengers: End Game. That in other words is one for the greatest Marvel movie ever made, but not this one.

Great introduction for a Marvel character. The use of Captain Marvel’s superpowers happened quickly and unexplained. There was no true mentor to assist Captain Marvel grasp her new found powers so accepting her transition to greatness was a little hard in a quick fashion. All-In-All I really enjoyed this movie and look forward to seeing more of Captain Marvel.

Hey, every hero needs an origin story, and Marvel is killing it! Another great film to add to now ending Phase 3 to the upcoming Phase 4 story/films. Capt.Marvel is a good intro to where she is in the upcoming Avengers: Endgame film. Recommend buying and watching a few times.

My family loved this movie. After Wonder Woman, my wife and daughter were looking forward to another female led superhero movie. Captain Marvel did not disappoint. My son and I enjoyed it as well. Loves the nostalgic 90’s sound track...I can’t believe I just wrote that.

Purchasing 4k + DVD combo boxes started, for Me, a couple of years ago, and although I’ve never used the Digital Format (Movies Anywhere) I may give it go soon as My Entertainment Center is lacking in true 4k, as in the reason I bought the tv in the first place!!

This film is a solid introduction to one of Marvel Comics most powerful heroes in the lead up to Avengers: Endgame. Both Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson have some great chemistry between them and work well as a team. Also, you'll never look at a cat the same way again!!!

This was a great movie. It had comedy and action that pulled me in and kept my attention. I love how this movie ties in with Avengers End game. This is a movie worth watching so I recommend to everyone who is a fan of this franchise to get this movie, it won't disappoint.

This movie tells the backstory of Captain Marvel and is a long-overdue addition to the Avengers. When viewed on a Blu-ray disc the audio and video quality are excellent! Fans of the Avengers will definitely want to add this movie to their personal or family collection.

A great movie ro add to your Marvel library. The steel cover ia durable. There is great pictures in the front, back and inside. The movie is great too. One of what I hope would be more female leading heros. The story is good and brings it closer to the Avenger story line.

Set in the early 90’s (remember grunge) about Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel) and how she becomes the most powerful hero in the universe and when the galactic war reaches earth she meets Nick Fury (Samuel Jackson) and we see how he lost his eye. Goose the steals the show.

I found Captain Marvel to be a decent movie, not the best of the MCU but definitely not the worst. The steelbook is excellent. The front cover captures the essence of the character, and the back cover features some nice iconography. Worth adding to your collection.

This is a good addition to the Marvel universe. Captain Marvel is strong, charismatic, funny, and extremely powerful. Occasionally she falls into Superman territory, where no threat really causes her an issue, but the special effects and fight choreography make up for it. Overall the plot is very predictable, but well executed, and Sam Jackson is a gem.

Captain Marvel and a young Nick Fury confront Aliens. Fury realizes Aliens exist and Shield in it's infancy is no match. Avengers idea is born. Marvel and Fury Battle the Aliens With help from her Alien Team. great movie plenty of action and the first of the Avengers.

Captain Marvel continues the trend of strong origin stories in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This movie is mostly standalone but it helps if your familiar with Nick Fury and the general MCU storylines. Much like Dr. Strange or Black Panther, Captain Marvel doesn't overtly connect to the ongoing story thread in the MCU and can be enjoyed on it's own.

This was a character I knew very little about so going in I was kinda unsure. But lemme tell you, Marvel nailed it again. Super fun, good action pieces, and heart. There were a few hiccups and blemishes I had with the fun but not near enough to tarnish its reputation.

Captain Marvel was a victim of hyperbole. The movie is apart of the MCU and was the final film prior to Avengers Endgame, which signaled to fans that it was required viewing. Unfortunately, it was an okay film, with little to no correlation to Avengers Endgame. Brie Larson is solid in the role of Carol Danvers, but I can't help but wonder how Emily Blunt or Katee Sackhoff would have fared in the role. One of the bright spots in the movie is Ben Mendelsohn, who plays Talos, the leader of the alien race Skrulls, who have historically been labeled as villains in the Marvel Comics universe, but they are portrayed as victims and refugees, escaping from the Kree, the race that Vers/Carol Danvers was trained by. It was an interesting twist and one that has lasting repurcussions for the MCU. All in all, it is a decent Marvel movie, but one I don't see myself rewatching as it doesn't affect the overall story arc of the 23 film Infinity Saga.

The 4K version of Captain Marvel has crisp video images with excellent color and detail. Picture quality stays consistent even in scenes with low lighting. I would recommend this version over the Blu-Ray version if you have a 4K UHD player and a 4K Ultra TV with HDR.
