With the last building block in place, the Avengers are finally complete! As arguably the most powerful being in the Marvel universe, I suppose they left the best for last. Captain Marvel is a great addition to the franchise, and I wish they would’ve paid her character a little more attention before her rushed appearance to save the day in Endgame. It’s a great movie, and is a must see if you’ve always wanted to know more about Nick Fury’s past (..and why he possibly wears an eyepatch?)

Full disclosure, I like all the MCU movies and so this is not unbiased. Captain Marvel, like all the MCU movies, is beautifully made and has an intriguing story to tell: how did Captain Marvel become Captain Marvel, and what is she going to with her powers going forward? Given the ending of the movie, one expects Captain Marvel to play a part in Avengers: Endgame, but what will that part be? Frankly, I thought she was going to be the one to defeat Thanos. Was I right or was I wrong?

Another wonderful, winning Marvel movie!! This one is a great origin story with some good moments of comedy and some great action moments as well! Brie Larson is a great choice for the role and Samuel L. Jackson as usual does not disappoint. The steelbook is a great looking one as well! Technical merits are solid for a Disney release with the picture quality being great while the Dolby Atmos track is as with all Disney movies, sonically challenged. Still worth a buy though!!

I really enjoyed Captain Marvel. I thought the storyline was well done, explaining how Captain Marvel became who she is and why she has her powers. The acting was pretty good as well, for the most part. It's definitely a movie I plan to watch again. I hope they do a sequel and show what Captain Marvel was doing between the end of the Captain Marvel movie and when Nick Fury tried to contact her with his modified pager at the end of the Avengers Infinity War movie.

As much as I love comic books, I can't say that I was all too familiar with the origin story of Carol Danvers (a.k.a Captain Marvel), so I had absolutely zero expectations going into this film......and I ended up enjoying it as I have done with all the other MARVEL films! I am big fan of the Skrulls, so I was happy to see actually get to appear in a live-action movie! All in all, people who enjoy comic-book, action, or sci-fi films should find plenty to enjoy here!

This has to be one of the best superhero movies that I've seen so far. It manages to cover all the bases of a good action film. I took my grand kids and nephew to see the film when it first came out. I knew I had to buy it as soon as it came out. It's been one of the best film purchases I've made. My family and I have watched it several times now, enjoying every moment. Highly recommended for all ages. Some adventure action may be to violent for younger children.

Again; as you've seen me comment before, I'm a HUGE MARVEL fan since Iron Man. Captain Marvel is marvelous. I enjoyed it from beginning to end. I have to say folks at Marvel seem to do some homework and find the right person for said characters. I believe that and the awesome writers who put all these stories together keep me so captivated. Now, with Avengers Endgame bringing me to tears and Spiderman Far from Home coming... Here's to the continued MARVEL success.

Despite all the heat this movie received from trolls, it's really great. For reference, I'm a 31 year-old white man and it was terrific. It didn't feel like there was an agenda being shoved down my throat. It was a female-led superhero movie and apparently that's enough to threaten men. Larson killed it as Carol Danvers, with a very comics-accurate depiction of Carol's personality, tone, etc. The 90s nostalgia was a treat too. Great film with a ton of heart.

This movie was awesome in theaters. Now to have it at home is wonderful. The colors really pop and the HDR affect is nice. It’s not reference quality but close. The sound hits hard. It’s very entertaining and if you’re a fan of Marvel then you have to pick this one up. You won’t be disappointed. Having said that, this one isn’t one of the best IMHO. It is tied into the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe and an essential watch before watching End Game. Enjoy!!

Great bluray and my friends this one I went ant pick up at the store ready less than an hour. And the movie is excellent bluray extras which makes it even better than the original theatrical version. As for Best Buy always on time great customer service satisfaction Team Grantee and gave the opportunity to get a Firestick with 30 days of Sling TV with Showtime free. Yes free and the Firestick cheaper than online. Recommend eyes close. Thumbs up!!!!

The arrival of "Captain Marvel" came with much fanfare, controversy, and ballyhoo. Of course, the wife and I were very excited to watch her debut film as we're both big MCU fans, cosplayers, and respect the talents involved. How was the film itself? Let's just say it wasn't the BEST of the MCU...but it wasn't the worst either. It's entertaining, fun, and full of great nostalgia and performances. But it didn't blow our socks off, either. Either way, the BluRay is a great addition to the library and I think Marvel fans and people who love their filmic creations will enjoy this one!

I'm sure by now most everyone has seen this movie. It is a good movie and fun to watch. Fits right in to the marvel universe not only in story arc but the way its put together is similar. I like the steelbook though i feel a much better cover could have been chosen. I don't like when they repeat same themes so i don't mean another cover with everyone on it. But could have been a better action shot then just a hangar. Still, good steelbook.

As a father with a Daughter and Granddaughter I want them to know there are great role models of Strong, smart women in the world and even though this is fiction, it's nice to see a superhero movie with a Woman that they can look up to. Also its a great movie with tons of great action and a pretty good story.. Very entertaining, lots of fun to watch...

I am a huge fan of the comics so there were a lot of inconsistencies that I had to overlook for sure. Including the origin of Captain Marvel which was way off and that Skrulls were some how good guys is not right at all but very entertaining and nice to see one of my favorite Marvel characters hit the screen even if the story is no where close to the original. For the non comic fan that enjoys the Marvel movies, you should dig this one.

This movie's fine and good. Maybe the standards are a little unfair with it being sandwiched between Infinity War and Endgame. It meets the mark when it comes to cool and impressive visuals -- which are large part of what make Marvel movies such a fun ride. The story and main character are okay, but I look forward to her feeling a little more developed in a future film. This steelbook is very nice looking. The movie's picture quality looks great. The extras on the disc are too minimal and fluffy, but I haven't yet listened to the commentary.

People criticize the characters as being flat and Captain Marvel being over powered. I disagree. She starts flat, but as she recovers her memories and becomes more like the person she used to be, her character develops and becomes more 3 dimensional. The whole family enjoyed this movie. Captain Marvel is OP, but anyone that has read the comics will agree that it is spot on. She is the most powerful hero in the greater Marvel Universe.

OK let me clarify. This is a great 4K steelbook release and I highly recommend it. However, I want you to know what you’re getting into here. Not everyone loves Captain Marvel movie, but I do adore it. It’s fun. Set in the 90’s. And it has lots of humor! It also has a cat as a star too and that’s a plus. Now the 4K presentation is clean and clear, but nothing to write home about at the same time. I say that because Disney still continues to neuter their Dolby Atmos surround tracks. However, that’s nothing raising the volume higher can’t take care of.

After all the backlash this movie received before it came out had me hesitating to go see it In theaters. But mannnnn let me tell I’m glad I took a chance because marvel did not disappoint again it was awesome. It had a good story,good action and believable characters. And when it comes to the special effects look I seen it in 3d and let me tell it’s immersive with depth. I had to buy the 4K and 3d version of this.

This was a great outing for Marvel’s first female superhero outing. I particularly loved Ben Mendelsohn as Talos/Keller. He started off as the villain but his charismatic portrayal made me root for him in the end. And it turns out he wasn’t the villain. I was worried that Brie would come off as stiff, but I was pleasantly surprised with her performance as well. And we knew what to expect from the great Sam L. Jackson. I loved it.

Captain Marvel Action adventure and a Marvels Universal Series worth your time and money. Filling in with the existing Marvel Universe good and bad guys; Brie Larson as Carol Danvers / Vers / Captain Marvel, life and adventures unwind into the plot to tie her chartered into the Marvel Universe we all love and know. Exciting action packed and everything good Marvel has presented in the past, makes this a must watch movie.
