I have loved just about every Marvel movie that I've seen but Captain Marvel is a particular fav. I loved Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, she completely rocked it. Loved the rest of the cast - loved seeing the way this movie played into some things that we've seen in other marvel movies. And don't even get me started on Goose. Great addition to the franchise - loved every second of Captain Marvel.

The steelbook is one of my favorite ones to own and looks beautiful on the shelf. The film itself is quite good, not a perfect marvel film but introduces Captain Marvel in a great way. I’m a Brie Larson fan and want to see her inclusion in the MCU with further films in the future. The 4K transfer is decent but could have been slightly better but doesn’t take away from the enjoyment of the film.

Captain Marvel is a great female lead superhero film that brings the fun without turning into a SJW scene. It does turn a few expectations from the comics on their heads, but it does it in a well written way. Captain Marvel has become my 2nd favorite MCU character thanks to this film and my most anticipated character for future MCU movies. (Iron Man will always be remembered. Love you 3000!)

The difference in price between the steelbook version & non-steelbook version is never really worth it. Am I a fanboy that will continue to buy them? Probably. However, I'm one of those people that does not want to let go of physical media. It's the only way to own something. With all digital platforms, you are merely licensing your content. If the service goes under, you're left with nothing.

We were a little skeptical about Brie Larson starring as Captain Marvel. After watching this movie, we are very pleased with her performance. We were told to watch Captain Marvel prior to watching Avengers: Endgame to understand the connection between the two movie plots. We are very happy that we did watch these movies in the recommended order. Two very good movies for a movie night!

I'm not going to rehash the movie. If you're looking at getting the blu ray, you're looking for the special features or the re-watchability of the movie. We watch this one quite often, and the blu ray makes it pop off the screen. The special features are pretty cool, and the theme is very 80's nostalgia similar to the setting of the early part of the movie. Definitely worth purchasing.

Saw this preview night and couldn’t wait to get my hands on this steelbook. Have grown up in the 90s, the nostalgic atmosphere of Captain Marvel was like a much-welcomed trip down memory lane, enhancing the introduction of some MCU characters as we know them. Introducing Captain Marvel so late in the game may be a turn off for some, but it tied in a lot of threads left unanswered in the MCU.

My wife and I love the artwork on this 4K blu-Ray release. The movie may not be the absolute beat superhero movie I’ve ever seen but it’s pretty great having Captain Marvel FINALLY on film. The visuals are great per Marvel’s usual talents and that is the main draw here (hence the 4K). Standout performances by a remarkably de-aged Samuel L. Jackson, Jude Law and Goose the cat. Recommended.

I saw this in theaters with my youngest daughter and she loved it. I loved it as well. Living in a house full of women it was a great movie to bring home because not only is Captain Marvel the strongest hero we have seen in the MCU she is also a woman which excites the ladies of my home. Sam Jackson’s role in the movie was amazing they used him very well in the film we highly recommend it.

I know this is Captain Marvel's movie but I love watching young Nick Fury!! Ms Marvel is good as well but she was not as good as I was hoping for. To be honest I ended up liking Jude Law more and he was the bad guy as his baddy had more personality. But it is a fun movie over all and I am looking forward o the next one and hopefully they let Brie have more fun in the role. But I am kind of worried they might have her be the Marvel SJW hero. That would be a bummer and a waste of a good story.

Hard not to write something that would be a spoiler, but this is a must have/ watch if you are a MCU fan. The younger Fury is amazing, but when you see S Jackson in the extras you realize the guy just isn't aging - when he has a little hair! The beginning of the Coulson - Fury team is comedic, and the beginning of Capt Marvel is perfect. You understand why and where she got her swagger!

I liked the throw back of the setting in this movie. It brought back alot of good memories. Captain Marvel is a nice look down memory lane...how the Avengers concept was put into play. Great movie. Loved it. Bree Lawson is perfect as Captain Marvel. Her performance should inspire little girls everywhere that they can do anything and achieve everything they want in life!!

If you really enjoy Marvel movies you won't be disappointed with the introduction of Captain Marvel. While I can't say its one of their best movies like Avengers Infinity War or Captain America Winter Solder. I did really enjoy getting to know this new character and what she has to offer to this cinematic universe. I can't wait for the sequel so they can expand on her backstory more.

Captain Marvel is the usual super hero movie... a Marvel Super Hero Movie,that is... which earns and keeps Marvel Studio's reputation for the bestest movies. It just flowed so naturally that it didn't seem like a hour and a half had past... and it didn't!! This movie is 2 hours (and 5 minutes)! Captain Marvel is everything you want an action movie to be; Serious, funny, sad, and happy.

I wasn't really sold on the steelbook cover, but when I saw the back I fell in love. As for the movie, it doesnt deserve all the hate. The beginning was dope, with really cool storytelling. The rest of the movie became a buddy cop movie and I ain't mad at that. The middle got a little soggy-Lifetime original for me, but the ending picks back up. Loved the Skrulls. Worth a watch for sure

I love and own all the MCU movies. For some reason I was not as excited about this one but I still bought it the day I came out. I like the actress but was not sold on her as a superhero type till I saw this. I LOVED IT! And Brie Larson was awesome. Exceeded my expectations. And a must own if you are collecting all and following the series. Marvel does it once again. (Thank you Stan)

Captain Marvel is another great addition, in my opinion, to the list of MCU movies. I purchased the Blu-ray copy and it has an awesome picture quality. I never take advantage of the digital copy but perhaps I should do that since I do love the film and would like to watch it anywhere. Overall, extremely satisfied with my purchase. Best Buy is were I tend to make my Blu-ray purchases.

I’m glad to add this movie to my Marvel blu-ray steelbook collection. The film itself is fun, if a little thin storywise. And the 90s song choices were a little on the nose... But I enjoyed the story movie overall and rank it squarely in the middle of the other Marvel titles. While it’s no Winter Soldier or Guardians of the Galaxy, it’s certainly better than Thor the Dark World!

I’m a sucker for the steelbook. I don’t know if it the analog old man in me that just like being able to hold and own a quality product or if the dorky pop culture fan in me enjoys the artwork and design. Either way, Captain Marvel is such a great and fun installment in the Marvel Universe and the strong female lead for whom gender is not a defining attribute is the best of all!

Went into this one with high hopes since this character is most likely the tent pole for the MCU going into the future, and because it was another female led story that my daughter could look to for heroics. This was a let down. A by the numbers adventure and standard origin story (which is ok I knew that going in so I wasn't looking for ground breaking movie making), the biggest let down is the bland acting of the lead. Brie Larson won an Academy Award so I expected someone who could at least show some emotional range like excitement or anger etc. at the appropriate moments. Nope. Blank stares and flat delivery of lines=no emotional impact or bonding with the main character. Her reactions, or non-reactions had me rolling my eyes and wishing for someone to make me care about what was happening on screen because she obviously did not. Gale Gadot was awesome as Wonder Woman, Scarlett Johansson always made you care about Black Widow, but Larson? Oh Boy. That and the stupid way Nick Fury loses his eye after such promising teases (the last time I trusted someone I lost an eye) almost completely ruined this movie for me (And the I'm Just a Girl led fight scene-we get it and support it stop punching the audience in the face trying to make us support girl power we already do), but the visuals and action saved the film. I was glad to see that the "acting" problem was maybe due to a weak director once I saw Larson in Endgame. There's hope for Captain Marvel movies seeing her do much better in that movie. You know it's a problem when an eight year old girl says a movie made for girls to cheer was "okay." Still, while being entertaining, this one lands in the bottom ranking of Marvel movies due to the aforementioned problems. Please be better in sequels. Please.
