This review is more on PQ and packaging of this steel book. I'm a late adopter on 4K/UHD medium but since haven't been disappointed. As for picture quality the colors just pops and haven't notice any picture noise. With the space and earth scenes you get a full range of testing your 4k setup. As for the steel book packaging as always great choice of what gets on the cover.

Marvel has done it again with another great installment in the MCU. The story is good and the special effects are awesome. According to IMDB this movie was filmed in 6.5K and it really shows in the 4K presentation. The picture is clear and bright and the Dolby Atmos soundtrack brings you to the center of the action. I highly recommend buying this movie in 4K!!!

these movie is just another marvel movie in the franchise that is as good as all the others they have made so far. They ended ironman and captain ameraca will be the next to leave so with a women super hero these will be a great change to super hero the age of the women as my wife puts its .acting was good . cant wait to see more of captain marvel and more women super heros

Our first female character being the center of their own movie!! Another origin story that simply works. We learn about how Captain Marvel came to be and what she’s been going through with the Kree empire. Many cameos from other Marvel movies are here and there’s enough plot and action to keep you vested in this story as well as the overall Marvel universe. Recommended.

Captain Marvel has all the right elements that tied up loose ends for the MCU. Making her one of the most powerful Avengers sheds new light on an old character. Even going as far as her code name being “Avenger” makes a lot of sense. Although, not allowing her to have knock down drag out with Thanos in Endgame was a disappointment, I hope we see her in future adventures.

Captain Marvel is an enjoyable addition to the MCU. It's a great origin story that ties into the MCU years before Iron Man's debut. Although it's a phase 3 movie, it feels more like a phase 1 movie in which watching it in chronological order gives the best experience. The 4k steelbook is a great addition to your MCU collection, great cover art and amazing disc art makes this a colorful set. Samuel Jackson, Ben Mendolson and goose the cat stole the show with awsome performances.

I went to see this at the theatre and for some reason it wasn't as clear sounding (audio). However, with the correct audio and subtitles, I was finally able to hear and understand the movie. This is more of a plot movie than special effects. The origin of Nick Fury is interesting and I too would be embarrassed that "the cat did it." I think that one of the outtakes should have been left in the movie because it would have explained the plot better, but hey.. I'm not the director.

Of the recent MCU titles, this one got a little extra love when it came to bonus features. Most of the featurettes are the typical EPK faire that Marvel favors but there’s some good interviews and insightful commentary on various aspects of the filmmaking process. Picture and Sound quality are superb on my setup and I imagine would benefit greatly from 7.1 system. The 4K transfer features tremendous color reproduction and shadow detail. It’s a very pretty film to watch on UHD.

Marvel releases its first female centric superhero film and while fun it does have a few issues. Much like any film where we see an MCU character's origin there's lacking. Briefly Larson is decent using a script that at times feels both overstuffed and lacking. On the plus side the cast does great work and it's especially nice seeing Clark Gregg back in the film side of the series. As a tee up for Carol Danvers' series for films I think it shows potential, but only time will tell.

Okay, so I was skeptical about this movie but my spouse and kids wanted to see it so I gave in. OMG I'm glad I did! Marvel did it again with this one (how do they keep making such great films??), but no spoiler alerts here - other than it takes place in the 1990s, that's all I'm going to say. Oh, and of course it's awesome in 4K and 7.1! Can't go wrong there. Have fun!

Shopping for a new Home Theatre System can be grueling. Everything sounds VERY different in the store compared to your home. Just the amount of ambient noise means you'll listen to the system MUCH LOUDER than you would in your home. Further, they're pointing to your waist, not your face. I decided to check out Samsung, the brand of my TV. I was really surprised by the quality of sound, ease of use, ease of setup -- a GREAT price - I'd recommend a Samsung System to anyone!

Captain Marvel is a great introduction for Brie Larson in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She plays Carol Danvers like she’s been the character her entire life. And the chemistry between Carol and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) is so fun to watch. This is a great jumping point in to Avengers: Endgame, and a perfect way to introduce Captain Marvel into the MCU! I love it!

A movie that's heartfelt, empowering, and has fun with itself. Bought myself a copy and one for my younger sister for Christmas, I think she'll enjoy it. In a market that's saturated with male protagonists, it's refreshing to see a female empowered, takes no BS, and leads the movie.

this film seems to get a lot of grief, but my wife and i thoroughly enjoyed it. its a great primer for the marvel cosmos. it marries a strong female lead with solid story telling. quintessential marvel movie. also love that they address the 'marvel' and 'mar-vell' pronunciations.

Captain Marvel is the best movie staring a female, forget what the politics are saying if you wanna escape from your everyday life for awhile this film is for you, plus, this film takes place in the same universe as Spider-Man, Captain America, and the Guardians Of The Galaxy so it does have that connection, overall go buy it, rent it, it's worth your time.

This movie combines everything marvel has been building with action fun times in deep meet those of the MCU Good news is you don’t have to see any of the movies for this to make sense for this movie takes place years before the first Iron Man movie that started it all just 10 years ago the soundtrack is amazing as a starter trip for anybody who grew up in the 90s

I enjoyed this movie and the interaction between Capt Marvel and Fury, and learned more about the Cree and the Skrulls. Some may find it not as interesting as the other Marvel movies, but everyone has their own opinion.Lots of action, and some humorous moments. I would have liked to see Capt Marvel's full power potential kick in sooner, but when it does, AWESOME.

Captain Marvel is an interesting character with an interesting history. This film does a relatively solid job of injecting her into the MCU with an interesting backstory and power scale. With that being said, the film also suffers a bit under the average screenplay and, for those that were around when it first released, the publicity that was Brie Larson and the feminine charge burdened on both Larson and the character. Overall? A fun film with some creative things to say.

Brilliant as always, marvel, well done. Top notch acting especially by Brie, Jude, and Sam. Perfect soundtrack. Finally a female superhero movie that I wish was around when I was growing up. Captain Marvel really is the best superhero we have yet to see in the MCU or any superhero universe.

The movie definitely has its ups and downs, but it is is nowhere near as bad as many say it is. Brie Larson, while not awful in the movie, could have done better in some aspects (especially after seeing some of her previous roles). The movie has some interesting ties to earlier points in the MCU. The film is clearly meant to set up characters and concepts in the film into future stories (like the skrulls). And the Steelbook, while not stellar, is pretty nice to have
