Grip is not firm, it keeps coming out every other day.. b. Its dangerous as it has some auto expand and contract without much control. My hand got stuck twice and it was a struggle with side buttons not responding i would not recommend this product to others

When pushing the side release buttons, it doesnt open unless I help it. Also, the air vent mount is stuck closed and the adhesive for the rubber pieces are pulling apart from the mount itself as I attempt to open it up to place in the vent. I didn't even get to set it up because of the lack of usability.

Not a great value!

However, the mechanism that attaches this unit to the vent is abysmal! I happened to have another similar unit, (different brand), and whittled down the ball of the joint and was able to fit it into this unit and attach it SOLIDLY to my A/C vent. Otherwise, make a sharp turn in the car and the phone AND mount are on the floor, (either at the passenger's feet, or at the DRIVER'S feet, under the pedals!)! No Bueno! I can't believe that something so otherwise elegantly fabricated would be so poor in this area. For the money, it's not really worth it unless you are, like me, an engineer who can make things work!
