Car and Driver - Vent Mount Bluetooth FM
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After carefully sifting through several after-market options to add bluetooth to my vehicle (from a full radio pull to the simplest plug in adapter) I settled on the car & Driver FM Transmitter. I am VERY happy with it! It works exactly as it should. I noticed some other reviews which say it has static but I suspect they may have issues for not tuning the device to a 1-away station (having worked briefly in radio there is a thing called frequency bleed - make sure you choose a frequency that has at least one empty station to up and down from the one you are using for your car & driver FM transmitter) should eliminate most/all static. Other than that, it is a great device. My only complaint is that I have a rugged case on my phone which causes my phone to not fit in the holder, but I have a nearby cubby for the phone and it works fine from there with the FM transmitter installed as intended.
