Microphone is too far away for me to be heard!

However, the microphone placed in the cup holder is too far away/not strong enough for me to be heard by those I'm speaking to. I could hear everything really well through my car's speakers, but could not be heard by the person I was talking to.

Good reviews but mine broke after 5 months

Tried reaching out to customer support for this from the brand but there is nothing other than going through Best Buy.
