Disappointment
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.With the cast, Rooney Mara, Sarah Paulson, Cate Blanchett, this can't go wrong. Well, it did. Sorry, this movie was just SO slow it didn't linger on the mind as it should, it just crawled. Excellent performances, but the story didn't meet them.

Beautiful Film

If you have ever seen a Todd Haynes film, you will know that his films are always beautifully shot. Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara give exceptional performances and this film is a must see for serious movie lovers.

Let Down

It may be because I wasn't keen on Cate Blanchett's character, so that shouldn't be a fault of the film, but hard for me to separate. It's hard to pass up a movie starring both Cate Blanchett AND Rooney Mara!
