The first one had more of a story but this one is a great action adventure movie for kids and their parents.

this is a great family movie, the 3d effects are really good. The kids watch this over and over again.

Good movie to watch with the kids. But it wasn't as good as the first Cars movie. The sequel isn't as memorable and isn't a classic like most of the pixar films. I would say its worth a watch but not really worth ownership. And I watched the 3d bluray version

This movie has been a favorite and best watched in blu-ray.

While the 'OO7' bond plot with cars is exciting and entertaining enough, it focuses all on Mater and Lightinging McQueen is only in cameos when the storyline overlaps. If you don't mind watching Mater then this movie is for you. If you are buying it because you want to see McQueen then stay with the original.

The movie, is what is is, just okay compared to the first Cars movie. That said, the issue with this set, is the 3-D disc, it skips/jumps - you simply can not view it. I updates my player, exchanged it 3 different times, and still no luck. The number to Disney Blu-Ray support it not easy to find, and when you do, they really have poor canned answers as to what the problem is, and they essentially fault the manufacturers of the players for not having current firmware updates for the players. I have the highest end player available, and it is updated and still no luck. Disney is basically saying that their technology is so advanced that nothing can play the disc. They say their have been minimal complaints, buit any web search will show that that is any thing from the truth. Disappointing from a company like Disney, and very disappointing for my 6 year old!!

The movie is enjoyable, but if you have a Samsung Blu-ray player the blu-ray disk won't play. Buy the blu-ray/DVD combo. Same issue with the TRON blu-ray. Beware.

I understand the appeal of Disney/ Pixar movies. I love the Toy Story franchise, but Cars is no Toy Story. The plot was hard to sit through, the acting was forced (keep in mind its an animated movie), and the overall feel after viewing the movie was of immediate regret. But that didn't mean that my 4 year old son didn't have me in line the day the 3D Blu- Ray came out. The Toy Story short at the beginning of the movie was good, but not worth the $35.

Pixar really dropped the ball on this one. The quality of the Blu-Ray disc is superb. Great picture quality and great sound. Unfortunately, the movie was terrible. It was a spur of the moment purchase. It was on sale and I had $10 off for a reward coupon. So, thankfully it only cost me $12. But it will probably end up in the garage sale someday. Just a horrible story, and I wanted Larry the Cable Guy to shut the hell up!

What a great 3D movie; beautiful deep animation. But... the 3D disc became stuck in multiple loops. Forward scene; it happened again. I had the same trouble with Toy Story 3 and when exchanged had the same trouble again. These are both GREAT movies so it is a shame I can't add them to my collection.

The 3D movie did not work. It would play for a short time and then get stuck in a loop. Took it back and the next disc did the same thing. This is a great movie but very disappointed that I could not watch in 3D!

My boy's and I love the original cars movie. great story. however cars 2 is very disappointing. story line is disjointed and in the end not interesting. DO NOT BUY! If you really want to see it....rent, once will be enough.
