This movie is better than part too. Steelbook could’ve been a better design.

The movie has some funny points but it's definitely time to hang up the series, story is redundant.

    Best One Yet!!!

The first Cars film is a classic. The 2nd is one even my 2 year old wants to forget. Cars 3 was a wonderful story that can relate to anyone from athletes to everyday life when the young guns come in and your the old man on the block. Not only is the story great but the visuals were a huge step up for Pixar with how their colors popped and more importantly the shadows! You can see a huge difference in how far Pixar has come with technology. The best thing about the movie is it will be the FIRST Disney animated film in 4k with HDR!!!! HDR is the biggest improvement in tv technology in the last decade. I can’t wait to see how beautiful and clear the picture will be and how the colors are going to pop off the screen. Lightning’s reds will be awesome but the blue on Jackson Storm black car I think is going to be the HDR stand out and show you what your HDR TV can really do. Kachow!!!!

Excellent Add to Movie Collection - Glad to see this added to the available 4K Steelbook Movies selection. Great animation and visuals. Plot keeps you entertained and engaged throughout.

Weirdest installment of weirdest Pixar franchise

    Posted .

The Cars franchise has always been Pixar’s weirdest. Unlike their other movies, with their great attention to story, Cars has always seemed like an excuse to have cartoon cars. The three cars movies have wildly diverging tones and storylines in them. This 3rd one gives us an aging Lightning McQueen. This is actually something that Pixar has explored before, to great success, in Toy Story 3. But the Cars franchise can’t achieve the emotional resonance that the Toy Story franchise can. Cars 3 is good, but not great. But on the plus side, you can see an all-new Paul Newman performance, and that alone is worth the price of admission.

This movie wraps up the franchise very well. Audio and video are excellent. A fun assortment of bonus features including the short "Lou" are spread out over two discs.

    Why No 3D This Time!?

This should be 3D. Pixar movies should only be seen in 3D. I'm not interested in a flattened roadkill garbage version of this movie no matter how many Ks it is it's still flat, lifeless garbage not living 3D wonderfulness. I like a UHD movie now and then if it's a flat movie anyway, but when the movie is 3D the 3D Blu-ray is the highest home video option and that's what I want to see. UHD is not even an acceptable downgrade in this case, I won't watch it. I'll just add Cars 3 to my list of movies I hope to get an opportunity to see in 3D someday. Loved Cars 1 and 2 and even Planes in 3D.

If your getting it for the 4k you may want to stick to the plain bluray. Atmos wasn’t so hot too. Check out this video for a more detailed break down https://youtu.be/TRGoB1hqcnU

Should have included the 4K HDR digital copy but when I redeemed it all I got was the HDX version. Have to pay another $24.99 to get the UHD version online.
