Memorable characters but the story is just bland IMO. My son loves it tho

if it had never gone on sale, I never would have got it.

It's a good movie my son loves it, only downside was cost $25 n it was just a DVD

It was very entertaining. Graphics were great. You had the feeling of being in the race at times.

If you are a fan of Pixar, Larry the Cable Guy, or a collector like me I would not say it is a bad thing to buy it. If you are not either one of those though I would suggest you pass on this one.

Not the best, not the worst. This special edition is definitely the best option for purchase though.

I returned this 3D DVD because it froze up at the same spot in the movie. It was swapped and the new 3D DVD that I received freezes in the exact same place as the previous DVD. This DVD cost me $35.00. It is apparently a defect in the movie. I have over 20 other 3D DVD's and none of them freeze up. I am very unhappy that I have lost $35.00. 3d movies are not cheap!

This Disney movie wasn't for us - that's about as nice as I can put it.

Cars is the lamest Pixar movie franchise of them all. Don’t care for it. But need the steelbooks.

Excellent Add to Movie Collection - Glad to see this added to the available 4K Steelbook Movies selection. Good animation visuals. Plot keeps you entertained and engaged throughout.

This movie is great fun! Cars follows Lightning McQueen, an self-absorbed race car who winds up in a forgtten town on Route 66. He comes to care about others and learns about friendship and that life does not always have to be in the fast lane. Along the way, there's lot's of high-octane laughs in the form of lighthearted slapstick and some more sophisticated humor. Cars is both fun and funny. The movie is brilliantly animated, everything is well drawn and moves in a fluid and natural manner. The HD transfer on the Blu-Ray brings out the best in the animation. The level of detail is truly amazing. The extras include the animated shorts 'One Man Band', a tale of dueling street perfomers and 'Mater and the Ghost Light', both are always fun to watch. There are also features on the making of the movie, including how they did the animation and also how they found inspiration for the movie. The guys at PIXAR actually took a road trip down Route 66, makes me want to take that same trip. One feature I found interesting was an interview with a race track owner. It turns out Cars is the first movie to give an accurate portrayal of racing! Cars is perfect family entertainment. Kids and adults can enjoy watching this movie over and over again. Fast paced fun with stunning HD visuals and sound!

Steelbook design is good. Loved this movie growing up!
