I found this cover to be just what I needed. It fits perfectly. The cover protects my Amazon Fire and it even has a part which works as to stand the fire up so I do not need to hold it upright.

I love this case! It's light and fits perfectly. There's a magnet on the flap that keeps it either open or closed securely. I have no problems with this case, and I'm so glad I got it!

The cover works and fits just as it should to protect the de ice. There is a design flaw with the oragami like folds that are supposed to fold to form a stable stand that doesn't stand. If you are using it in landscape mode it is fine but in portrait mode it tends to fall over.

I recently purchased one of these cases for a new $50 Amazon Fire tablet for my daughter and wanted to get a case to protect it. This case is made by Amazon and fits perfectly. Unfortunately it was $30, which was almost as much as the tablet itself. Other than the price, it is perfect!

Amazon's case, of course, fits the Fire Tablet perfectly. It's bending flap allows for a great support for the tablet to rest on the table or desk. The case holds up well and does not fall apart like the off brand. You get what you pay for, but this case is at a good price anyway!

Lightweight and easy to use. The flap is handy as it acts as a stand. However, the foldable stand does have to be in a very specific position to keep it from falling down.

Won a 7" Fire in raffle, found case on clearance rack for half price. Applied a $5 gift card to it and got the case made for the Fire for $4.99 plus tax. Can't beat that!!! If it protects as well as an Otter I'll be thrilled.

When picking up my tablet I wondered if I needed a case. It's nice to keep your new electronics looking sharp, even if the tablet it was for is only $50. The case is made for the specific table, so you know it will actually fit and not be held down by elastic straps like in the universal cases. It will stay shut (or folded over) by magnetism, and folds out a little to allow the tablet to "stand" when reading or watching video. My minor quibbles are that it won't power off the screen when closing like another Kindle I have does, and that it was literally half as much as the Kindle itself. That makes it seem a little overpriced, regardless of quality.
