I hate it and should have returned it, but I forgot to.

This is a good, dependable cover. I like this color over other 2 colors. The cover is slim enough to not add weight. However note that I find couple of minor issues with this cover due to which I am not giving 5-star rating- (1) Fits very tightly - you have to make an effort to fit it in. Same thing with removal and fitting it again! (2) It's not a smart cover so tablet will not auto sleep or wake up when you close or open the cover. You have to remember to put the tablet to sleep manually. I paid $10 for the cover during clearance so am quite happy with purchase.

Materials feel of decent quality. Fairly easy to add/remove the tablet, and keeps it from getting damaged. That said, its no smart-cover like for the iPad. However, in my opinion, this is the best out there for the Nexus 7.

This case comes in a gray canvas design with a cloth-like feel. The blue corner helps quickly identify the top right corner of the tablet. It was very hard to put the case on the tablet, but once it was installed, it stays on very well. The case is sufficient to protect the tablet from everyday use, and has been very durable so far.

First off, let me preface by saying I purchased this case at full retail price several months ago, when I purchased my Nexus 7. I almost immediately regretted the decision upon looking online at other options, but decided to stick with the case, as it was such a nice case. I purchased the Grey\Blue case, and love it. It's well made in my opinion and provides enough protection from scratches and scuffs for my liking. May major complaint was the price of the case, when I purchased it. $50...ugh....still hurts. I definitely recommend it to others, if you can get it at a cheaper price.

Whats to say, Made just for nexus 7. Color kind of weird will probably get dirty from kid use but hey at least it protects the tablet!

It's a case. It does what it is suppose to do and protects my device. Nothing more...nothing less. The only knock I have on it is that the foldable cover begins to lose its shape and doesn't hold in it original positions over time.

If there was one recommendation I had for a new tablet owner, it would be buy a case! I am writing this on my Nexus 7 right now, which would have broken if I had not bought this case. Someone dropped it once on pavement and once on a hard tile floor. The second time the case broke. I bought this case for $10, for a $200 tablet. That means this case is worth 20 times what I paid for it. I would not be writing this review today if it had not been for this case. I reccomend it 110%!

This case is great for function and slight protection. Tablet fits great inside, it's formed perfectly. Best way to install is right to left, since the right side protects the outer side of the tablet. The only CON I can think of is no sleep/wake function. Once you close it, it doesn't turn off the screen. Don't understand why this was skipped. Would have been a 5 star product if it had that sleep/wake function.

The Grey/Blue version fits the my Nexus 2013 perfectly.

I picked this up for $10 on sale, so it was a bargain at the price. I'd consider it at $15 (or even $20). But $50? No way!. It is custom to the size and shape and controls of the Nexus 7 (2013), but the fit is a bit tight. I worry that I am stressing the glass to get it to fit. It would be REALLY nice if it had the magnet that automatically turns the Nexus On and Off (like some other cases do). This case is fine when configured in low-profile (for typing), but when set near in near-vertical landscape mode (for watching video) it is unstable and falls over easily. The footprint is just too narrow. It would also be nice if it could be configured for vertical PORTRAIT mode, not just LANDSCAPE.

Love love love the Google Nexus7 tablet so wanted to take special care of it so thought why not fork over the extra and get a case specially made for my tablet. I was wrong, nothing special at all. It wouldn't even snap into place. So I got one online for $10 and it's perfect. Fit, protects, camera view, stands, I actually like it better than this specially made one and its so much cheaper! On a side note me and my husband have the same tablets and got the same cases originally. After I returned mine and got one online he also ordered it and returned this.

The case does not auto sleep when shut. There is no magnet to auto wake/sleep when the cover is open/closed. If you do not mind it, the case is perfect.

Bought this case against what was said in the reviews. This case fits great it is made by Google for a Google product. I love protect my investment well.

This case is made for google nexus 7 2013. It has lasted 18 months and still holds tablet. The corner pieces are cracked but tablet is still secured. Would purchase again.

Was good for about a year. After a year the corners started breaking.

I went to bestbuy to get one of these beauties, because they are in fact nice looking and the material they are made of does not feel cheap, and that's about it with the good stuff of this case. Sadly this thing lacks: * Sleep magnet, so it turns off the screen automatically when you close the case * No way to secure the folding part, it'll keep hanging around unless you keep it closed with your hand * DEFECTIVE, does not fit correctly I truly wanted to give it a try, did not mind the price, I could live without the other features but the first I've got popped out from time to time from one of the corners, went back to the store, returned it, got another one, same thing, it does not keep attached on four corners, the second one I've got is worse, both corners from the folding side (oposite of volume buttons side) pop out. Save some bucks and better get something cheaper and well done.

The case is a good and tight fit for the Nexus 7, so there is little risk it will fall out of the case. The case is also thin, so it doesn't take up much more room than the Nexus itself. However, the case corners broke off after only 2 months of use (light use at home, no major drops or falls). Although it has a limited warranty, Google will not honor it unless it is purchased through Google Play. Also, this case is about $30 more than the other non-Google brand cases. I haven't tried the other cases, so I can't comment on how good they are, but this case doesn't have any additional features over those cases. I had originally purchased it because it was made specifically for my Google Nexus 7, thinking it would be a better fit and would be of higher quality and thus offer more protection to the device. However, if it only lasts 2 months and breaks so easily, I doubt it is worth the extra money.

This is a great case! I like the fact that Google went a different route with the tweed look.Very professional looking opposed to the ordinary bland black.It took 2wks for BBY to drop the blue/grey to $10. Originally they sold the white/red for the same price but it doesn't accent the black N7 as well.No way was this case worth the original asking price of $50! The lack of viewing angles & wake/sleep function devalues the price. I only use my N7 for reading so those two omissions weren't deal breakers for me.

I bought a cheap case from amazon when I got my Nexus 7. It is ok but thought this would be much nicer. The 7 fits perfectly but the problem is in the cover. My amazon case has a magnetic closure and this one does not. I didn't think that would be a big deal but find myself missing that. The problem that was a deal breaker for me was the cover not closing all the way, it doesn't sit flush against the screen. Going back to my amazon case and saving over $30.
