I went to bestbuy to get one of these beauties, because they are in fact nice looking and the material they are made of does not feel cheap, and that's about it with the good stuff of this case. Sadly this thing lacks: * Sleep magnet, so it turns off the screen automatically when you close the case * No way to secure the folding part, it'll keep hanging around unless you keep it closed with your hand * DEFECTIVE, does not fit correctly I truly wanted to give it a try, did not mind the price, I could live without the other features but the first I've got popped out from time to time from one of the corners, went back to the store, returned it, got another one, same thing, it does not keep attached on four corners, the second one I've got is worse, both corners from the folding side (oposite of volume buttons side) pop out. Save some bucks and better get something cheaper and well done.

This case is made for google nexus 7 2013. It has lasted 18 months and still holds tablet. The corner pieces are cracked but tablet is still secured. Would purchase again.

This is a great case! I like the fact that Google went a different route with the tweed look.Very professional looking opposed to the ordinary bland black.It took 2wks for BBY to drop the blue/grey to $10. Originally they sold the white/red for the same price but it doesn't accent the black N7 as well.No way was this case worth the original asking price of $50! The lack of viewing angles & wake/sleep function devalues the price. I only use my N7 for reading so those two omissions weren't deal breakers for me.

This case was terrible. I couldn't get it onto my Nexus. I could get three corners on but not the fourth, or while getting the fourth corner on, the third would pop off, or I could get all corners on but using the case would make the corner pop off. (I thought I had the wrong case for my tablet... I don't. I have the one with the camera on the back and the smooth textured rear.) The case only has two stand positions and none are for vertical orientation. It also doesn't seem to have any magnets. This keeps the device from waking up or sleeping when the cover is opened or close (the biggest deal breaker for me) and it doesn't have any way to keep the cover closed. I will return this and continue using my roocase.

The back is made of rigid plastic and the tablet snaps in very tight. Unfortunately one of the inside corners pops out after a few minutes. Returned it and tried two more - all had the same flaw. For as much as this costs, the poor fit is unacceptable.

I love this case. I received it as a gift with my nexxus 7 tablet. Fits perfectly inside of the case. Wish it had something to keep the cover shut, but no complaints other wise.

I expect a case for a tablet to provide some protection for the tablet. This one does just the minimum. I plan to replace it with one that has a hand sleeve, a rotating stand, and velcro to close it.

I bought the 2013 Nexus 7 and this case at the same time. I was quite enticed by this case at first, because It looks AWESOME. And who would doubt a case made specifically for the Nexus 7 and branded by Google themselves?? I sure didn't. But then when I got home and unboxed the Nexus 7, I tried to put it in the case right away. It DOES NOT FIT. The corners just don't catch on to the device at all, its too tight. I felt like I was going to damage the Nexus trying to put this case on it. This is what I get for a whole 50$? I am taking it back ASAP. Would recommend AVOIDING this product, get a Belkin or something. And be sure to try on your cases before committing.

I bought this case for my 2013 Nexus 7 32GB (yes the one with the camera on the back). It didn't fit. The 4 corners WILL NOT stay on. There are other reviews out there describing this issue, from what I've gathered, it seems that this issue affects early adopters of this tablet and/or specifically 32GB versions. I bought my tablet on launch date and it is in fact 32GB, so the shoe fits with me, but the case unfortunately does not. Very disappointing that this case would not have been released without ensuring compatibility with all revisions of the gen 2 (2013) hardware. i would have at least appreciated a note on the product page stating compatibility with only specific build date 2013 N7's.

This item is great and at 10 bucks it can't be beat. It is a known problem that sometimes this case won't fit, but just take it back and they will switch it out for another one.

I bought it today at San Francisco store. It loos really pretty, but after spending 1 hour trying to stuck my nexus in. I gave up. It doesn't fir at all. The down left corner kept popping out. I'm going to returned it tomorrow morning. How I wish it can fit perfectly. I spent entire Sunday watching Nexus flip case review on Youtube. I'm very disappointed.

It didn't fit my Nexus 7 that I just bought online (from Best Buy) and picked up. For some reason, it kept popping off and I truly do not feel that the product is worth $50. I'm returning it today getting something else that's functional. I'd suggest trying before buying!!!

I can't even jam my nexus 7 into this thing. Not sure who is rating it anything but 1 star... Maybe its a bad batch?! Impressive job on this one Google.

It is not really a case when it doesn't fit N7. A corner pops out all the time... Should read the review before purchase.
