It attracts dirt in the fabric and so the sides discolor over time. it's also slippery compared with other materials, but a pop socket doesn't stick to it, so there's not a lot you can do other than be careful

Great for the eye, not sure about protection

It's nice looking, but I am more concerned with protection for my phone, so I returned it. I prefer something more like an Otter type phone case and rubber to grasp easier and not slip from my hands. It's really about preference.
