This case looks absolutely stunning against the new silver X. I absolutely swear by these cases for protection without the bulk. Used these cases on my 6 plus and my phone is still like new! Have not had a cracked screen yet.

This Mother of Pearl Case Mate case for Apple iPhone X and XS has an elegant look to it, I like it a lot, it's one of my favorite cases. It has a nice snug and protective fit but is also easy to put on and easy to take off which I like because I tend to change my cases ever so often. Although it's sturdy and protective I would definitely purchase it again if anything ever happened to mine.

This is a very nice case. High quality leather, handy wrist strap, good protection. But, the magnets that hold the flaps closed screw up the compass in the iPhone XS. There are magnets in the edges of both flaps. The heading can be anywhere from 45 to 180 deg off. Besides messing with the Apple Compass app it also affects navigation with Google Maps, Maps.me, Apple Maps. You are pointed in the opposite direction you want to go. If you take the iPhone out of the case and recalibrate it by moving it around, it goes back to normal until the first time you place it back into the shell and close the flaps. This case is OK if you don't mind the compass heading being off. I called and emailed Case-Mate tech support and they offered to send me a same model replacement case. I notice that the new model Case-Mate wallet folio cases don't have two flaps, they are single fold with just a front and back.

When I got the iPhone X I wanted to make sure I got a good case. I usually like Kate Spade for my case but decided to get one that was a little more protective. So far it has been great. It looks nice and is not bulky. I actually already bought another one so I can change it up.

Don’t have to worry about dropping it because it’s on your wrist. There is room for your credit cards and cash. So you can just carry your phone and go.

I thought the pieces of pearl would be 3D, but they weren’t. The case itself is clear, so I put a piece of paper behind it. The case is great in all other regards.
