I picked this up for about $18.99. I've seen the movie a while ago in theaters and it was great then and even better now in 4k! The HDR grading on this disc is simply beautiful it has been brought back to life in a dazzling way from colors that truly pop and clarity that one would expect from a 4k movie nowadays, at many points in the movie, this 4k bluray looks as pristine as some of the better looking modern Movies. Also, theres a level of film grain that lends itself in a good way to this release I appreciate that the grain is subtle enough to not be distracting but compliment the movie for a true filmic look.

Casino is one of my favorite classic movies right next to Goodfellas. I love the art of the steelbook on this one its a must for collectors.

This criminally underrated Martin Scorsese drama provides a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the power brokers, mobsters, hookers, and pimps who ran Las Vegas in the ‘70s and ‘80s, and it’s filled with all the glitz, greed, sex, and violence the screen can hold. Casino is an ambitious, magnificent epic that stands as one of Scorsese’s best films, and the revelatory, reference-quality HDR10 transfer and DTS:X audio on this 4K UHD disc bring all the glamour and sleaze to life like never before.

This movie is extraordinary. Joe Pesci is at his absolute best. Robert De Niro and Sharon Stone aren't too shabby either. Based on the Vegas mob ruled era this is a must watch. Speaking of which I viewed this 4K masterpiece on my Sony year old 65" OLED and was impressed that a 35+ year old film could look so stunning. Anyway, anytime I need a good dose of adrenaline this goes into my OPPO 4K player.

The movie is still wonderful! But my god, the 4K version of this movie is something else. Until I had a 4K player I completely underestimated the quality of 4K. I’m on a mission now to upgrade whatever Blu rays I can to 4K. I mean seriously everything about the 4K version of this movie is perfect. The desert scene was so beautiful to look at. The opening title sequence, the casino lights from the casinos. It’s visually pleasing to have on 4K. Please if you’re a fan and have a 4K player buy this!!

Everything looks good on this. Haven’t got 4 k but I can imagine when I do how it will look. Extras are good too on here.

So much better than the 1080p, by leaps and bounds, far superior than the standard blu ray. Nice surround sound. Even the coins in the casino are shiny in this. Some film grain but no so much. HDR in the this makes the visuals pop. All the lights pop off the screen. Very impressive for an older release.

If you like movies and have a movie collection then you do need this movie. This is a classic movie about Las Vegas

Wasn’t old enough to see it when it came out. But I wish I did. Excellent movie. Great cast. Good score.

Robert de niro at his best and a great transfwr to 4k. Amazing steelbook that needs to be owned.

What feeble, pithy review can I offer about Scorsese's epic masterpiece that hasn't already been written? Anything that I could write would be mere child's play when conveying how brilliant and masterful "Casino" really is. Although I'll watch anything Scorsese creates, I've personally always preferred his grittier films about corruption and crime -- "Taxi Driver," "Good Fellas," and even "Casino," which is a crime film of a different type. The corruption of power and the seduction of riches here collide that ignite a powder keg of brutality and revenge that are unparalleled.

I was so happy that this classic movie got the 4K treatment. The cast, the story and everything else about this movie is first rate. I was not disappointed. The performances of De Niro, Pesci and Stone under the direction of Scorsese cannot be beaten. It's simply a classic and in 4K it's even better to watch

This is a great upgrade from 1080p to 4K, considering it was shot on film and has the detail to do 4K justice. The blu-ray (which is included in this package, if you want to compare for yourself) looked great when it was released, but if you have 4K capability it is worth it to have epic shots of Las Vegas really pop on your 4K TV. If only Goodfellas had turned out as good as this, visually.

The relative quality of 4K discs is usually subjective and varied depending on personal preference as well as how much effort a studio/director put into the transfer. To me, "Casino" is one of the better 4K transfers I've seen thus far. If you're passionate about physical media, this is definitely a disc you'll want to have in your collection (assuming you like the movie, of course).

One of the best movies about the Mob ever made. I was glad to see this film put out in 4K, the picture and the sound are amazing. De Niro is at his best and Joe Pesci is outrageous. If you want to know the background of how Las Vegas grew out of the desert this is the film to see.

A good mob movie but not in the same as Good Fellas or The Godfather series.

Right off the bat you have a great cast and of course a great director. Similar to Raging Bull and more so Goodfellas, this movie takes you through the era of a man's life where he is running a vibrant casino. Since it is Scorsese, you can expect dirty plot twists and plenty of scandals. I bought this for five dollars and it also came with the DVD, which is unusual for a movie released back then. Overall, I would say this is more than worth a watch for any fan of Scorsese, DeNiro, Pesci, or even a corrupt James Woods.

I don't think a whole lot of care went into this 4k transfer. There's nothing to suggest it was remastered or remixed for a 4k release, for example. But after watching Scorceses' lates mob epic, *The Irishman*, which I didn't particularly care for, it was nice to revisit this classic. Infinitely re-watchable and a steal for $15, considering it came with a Digital Download and Blu-Ray copies of the film as well.

Good movie with great acting. If you liked Goodfellas this is up your alley.

Great movie, if you like so- called gangster movies? This is a must own, one of the best de Nero is great, peshi gives some of his classic lines here, Stone is drop dead gorgeous, and the story is awesome, a must see must own, and The 4k is stunning
