On the Bond Train
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ll admit I was first off put by a blonde Bond (don’t know why years later), but my curiosity got the best of me with the last (for now) Bond movie trailer came out. So I decided to give Daniel Craig a shot and watch him from Casino Royale to Skyfall. It’s not at all what I expected and was kinda in awe of this Bond’s performance. I loved the prequel angle with this and showing how he became 007. I ended up falling for this and Skyfall. Seeing it in 4K was just amaaazzzing!

Excellent Bond movie
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good James Bond film. One of the best in the series. It almost rivals Skyfall. From the direction to the acting to the action to Daniel Craigs performance as 007. Everything was excellent. Can't give it a 10/10 because Skyfall is a little bit better with everything I just named above, but its by no means a movie you should sleep on. The opening chase scene on foot is GOLD. Highly recommended to anybody who hasn't seen it by now, and if you haven't, where have you been. GO WATCH IT!!!!!!

Original Bond
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has been out for awhile, but here's a quick review. Pros: Classic Bond elements - fast cars; high-class locales; quick-witted, low key humor; and attractive women Cons: slow pace at times, making it easy for detached viewers to miss important plot points; as the main event, the high-stakes game at the title venue is well written and interesting, but for some, poker can only be so exciting. Conclusion: This one has classic elements, and Daniel Craig certainly brings his own style to the long-running franchise. Any fan can find something to enjoy in this film.

''CASINO ROYALE'' 2006
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture and sound are great. The only down-fall---THEY''RE IS NO EXTENDED CUT OF THIS FILM. I went to the end credits and checked the running time on the blu=ray player. Both the 4-k and original blu=ray say 2 hours and 20 minutes. If they're was a longer cut, it would run longer than that. So the printing on the bottom of the blu-ray front cover is a mis-print.

A great start to my favorite Bond
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This movie is a departure from the traditional Bond formula. Daniel Craig is a more impulsive Bond, he gets things wrong, he isnt always smooth and is not always in control, but gets the job done. Its a refreshing take on the character and makes me like Bond way more than the previous ones who where a bit "too perfect". Watch the movie!

The first and best Daniel Craig 007 film
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review."Casino Royale" was the first and the best of the Daniel Craig as 007 films. They just kept getting worse after this one. "Casino Royale" stars Daniel Craig, the luminous Eva Green, and Mads Mikkelsen as the villainous Le Chiffre. This film looks even better in 4K.

The start of serious Bond
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have enjoyed the grittier, more serious version of the the classic Bond stories. The series, which veered heavily into camp with Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton, has now reverted back into the tone of the books. Daniel Craig makes a great Bond. Too bad he is done with the series.

I have nothing here...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. On one side, the script isn't very good and I went into this thinking Daniel Craig looked more like a Bond bad guy than a good Bond actor. Coming out after, I was excited to see what he would do with his time as Bond. Ended up picking this up for 3.99$ which was a steal

quality could be improved
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the original blu ray release was not great. there was some visibly horribly unfocused shots in the opening sequence and it looked like there was no effort made to improve them. if you're buying this it's to just have a nice steelbook collection of daniel craig's bond.

Bond is back and better than ever!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a fan of steelbook Blu Rays; I'm not sure why every release isn't a steelbook? I'm looking forward to Spectre so I thought now would be a good time to buy the Daniel Craig "Bond" trilogy. The price was great, and I wasn't going to pass up getting the steelbook.

A Good Deal for the Money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased on sale for $10. As expected for the money, and much nicer than its plastic counterpart. It is quite a large case, which I found a little unnecessary, but it's large enough to stand up on its own (think steel case size of an HBO series.)

Excellent first film for new James Bond.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent redo of classic Bond film and perfect vehicle to introduce the new James Bond, Daniel Craig. The pulsating action, chase scenes and plot construction are all first rate. The suspense created in the card game is riveting!

Mid life crisis for Bond
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.interesting take on Bond getting to middle age. Action scenes are standard - but plot is predictable. However, all Bonds are predictable - if you dont' like it - go watch something that isn't a remake. (A bit harder to find nowadays)

Very nice cover design
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I won't talk about the movie, as you can find many reviews on the movie itself. I will speak on the quality of the steelbook, which is very nice. The artwork overall looks very good and my case was in very good condition.

Gotta Love Bond...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, I am not positive that I like how the package opens to get out disc. I am concerned that it will wear out funny and not go into the shelf after a few dozen times being watched...But it does look really cool!

The best Daniel Craig Bond film
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Daniel Craig makes a. Impressive debut as Bond. The 4K disc is the extended unrated version that shows a much darker side of Bond then previous films.

James Bond returns with a bang!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Casino Royale is now an official Bond film, after so so many years. It's also a great film to feature Daniel Craig in his first outing as James Bond. The Bond era has been reinvented for the 21st century.

Action packed and thrilling
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Casino Royale is a must see. It has all of the necessities for the Bond movies including (but not limited to) action, suspense, firearms and weaponry, technology, and demise of the antagonists plans.

Oh, this looks good in 4K
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bummed completely that this is not a 4K code redeem in iTunes. That's details to some, but What's up? That's just wrong. Best Bond to date.
