Always enjoyed this movie even though its probably not what I would consider the type of movie I usually enjoy... usually I'm more into action, crude humor and sci-fi. Every so often though a movie comes along that has a bit charm and an endearing quality to it that can be enjoyed by all. I can recommend this film to everyone!

This is an old favorite of mine as it deals with the afterlife and has the requisite elements of family, loss, greedy relatives who you just see ending badly, and a pre-teen love story that adds a bit of satisfaction at the end. There is something special about a movie that leaves you with a good feeling at the end.

I’m not rating the movie itself, which is fine for kids, but the quality of the Steelbook and the value of what’s in it. Included are two additional movies and some old cartoons, plus a high quality steel. Well worth the $14.99

This movie was rewatched on VHS millions of times during my childhood, and now I finally have it on blu-ray. I watched it at Halloween, and it was just as poignant and tear-jerking as when I was a young person. I also picked up on a few things as an adult, which I probably didn't catch while watching as a child.

I forgot how awesome this movie was since i have not seen it in so long. Use to own it on VHS when i was a kid. Very funny and touching movie and for the cg in the 90s for this movie looks awesome on blu ray. Worth adding to your blu ray collection. Casper! The friendliest ghost you know!

I bought this for two reasons: I love Casoer and wanted the blu ray, and the steelbook. Despite the flack this film may receive, it is still super enjoyable, and should be a Halloween staple.

This has been part of my childhood I remember watching this on my VCR and watching this on ABC FAMILY on Halloween this has been my favorite movie to watch and to have it in my steelbook collection

I really enjoyed Casper in cartoon, and when the movies came out, oh Boy! I had on DVD and purchased on BD hoping that the transfer rate would be worth the purchase. It's good, but could be better. Some of the older movies have not been given the attention to in the way of transfer. I know it can be done. Look at Wizard Of Oz. Oh my gosh. A bit grainy but still good.

This is a older movie that I had previously seen, but my wife had not and I was delighted when I was able to purchase it from BestBuy at a good price so my wife and I can watch it anytime we want with our grandchildren.

Casper is one of my favorite childhood films I was happy they put a Steelbook out to add to my collection but the bonus disc should have included Casper meets Wendy

Be careful when ordering the steelbook. Mine arrived damaged. Lots of small dents in the metal itself. The blu-ray quality is great! The picture is great and the sound is awesome as well. I really love the look of the steelbook packaging and I would gift this to any fan

Simple and effective artwork, and a gloss finish that's a fingerprint and scratch Nightmare. The movie is a nostalgic favorite of mine, and the new bonus disc has lots of goodies, including the shameful live action prequel, albeit in standard resolution. A great value.

Can't believe I was able to get this! I was afraid it would be sold out forever. Absolutely classic movie, and the SteelBook is gorgeous.

Casper is a okay family movie, but the darker overtone with characters killing themselves off to be ghosts on purpose is a bit much even in this day and age of film for kids so I would advise parents to watch it for themselves first before assuming it is okay for younger kiddos. Still the effects still hold up pretty well even with the higher definition of blu-ray.

I loved this movie back in 1995, and I still do. The blu ray version has perfect picture and sound quality. The supplements are not many, but they are nice enough. I would recommend this film and blu ray version to every fan of great family films.

A little cheesy, but it's a fun Halloween movie. Great for kids.

I grew up watching Casper in cartoons. This mix of real life actors/actresses and animation is great. The story is very entertaining. Jordan Hill's song,"Remember Me This way", is a great touch to this story of friendship.

Another great addition to the digit library. Can't wait for my kids to watch (and hopefully enjoy) the same movies I grew up with.

A great 90's classic that me and my wife really loveed and enjoyed,so we purchased it for our kids.newly remastered and better special effects seem to emerge from the new definition that is now available on blu ray. A great affordable deal.

This a by far one of the best steel books I own. This Casper collection is great. Plus throw in some cartoons with the 3 movies. Great collection for any Casper fan.
