You have to pull back the skin to get your pods in and out; and, for someone like me, who doesn’t like wearing their pods everywhere, it’s a pain to get it in our out every time the phone rings.

Doesn't open

My daughter didn't like that so I returned them and got her a different case. If you don't care about that then this is a well built case.

Unless the AirPod case itself is waterproof I don’t know how this can provide water protection. I don’t plan to test it out! The carabiner seems a bit chintzy and I wouldn’t trust it. But it has one thing going for it: it helps combat the slipperyness of the AirPod case itself.
