I bought this movie after seeing the preview. The preview was packed with many of robots and shootout with bad guys. However, this is not what the movie is about and is obviously not Robocop. Disappointed

Chappie has an intriguing premise and the potential to be a great movie (much like District 9). But, the potential was squandered on some lame plot twists.

Movie was all over the place not enjoyable at all. Preview was better than movie. I would suggest waiting for movie on cable.

This movis was total garbage. Don't waste your money. I'm giving my copy to my son to use for target practice.

I received this movie for free. Is it terrible? No. Is it something I would ever watch twice? Definitely No.

Loved this movie so much. Neill Blomkamp directed this movie along with district 9, & elysium and he hits the target everytime. They are all great movies to watch and they each share his unique directing apocalyptic quality to them. I really really enjoyed this movie if you enjoyed the other two then you better buy this!!

Don't expect a super deep plot with crazy twists and turns. Do expect a great story with some decent humor and great action scenes. Sharlto Copley kills it as Chappie and despite what you may have heard about Die Antwoord they are actually pretty good. Bonus points for Hugh Jackman's mullet. A great addition to any sci-fi fan's collection.

chappie is a pretty good action movie and it is kinda like robocop meets short circuit and i was shock how good it was bc i thought going into it that it was going to be just ok but i was wrong bc it was alot better than i ever thought and the has heart too so i hope they do a part two bc story was good and the action was good too so if you want a movie with heart and a pretty good story than check out chappie

I really like this movie, it touches all the emotions throughout. Like a roller coaster, from happy, sad, angry, and back to happy. Not sure how too many people could genuinely dislike this movie. As for another reviewer saying this is not a good Hugh Jackman movie...that's nonsense. He actually makes you dislike him by being bad, we rarely ever see him as a "villain" . He's also not what you'd consider a "main character" he's important to the movie, but only here and there. If you're on the fence about seeing this movie, just watch it.
