This movie is based on the book Charlotte’s Web. I feel it is a cute adaptation of the book. If you have little children there is a death involving one of the characters and in the beginning of the movie they talk about Wilbur’s being Xmas dinner. There is a reference to “bacon” as well. They use words like stupid and bloody. If you fast forward thru these parts the movie is very good. It shows humbleness, friendship, courage and love amoungst the characters.

Thought I was getting the animated classic. I didnt look at the back to see it was the live action version. Thankfully my kids still took to it. Only problem is I still want the old cartoon and now have to go buy it too. But in the end it is still a good movie.

If you grew watching the cartoon version, you should know that the story is basically the exact same, with some minor changes and less music. Kids liked it, but it did not make it to the "endless loop" category that some other shows are in.

This was a great gift for my niece. She got the movie plus the book (still better deal than buying separate).

Good movie production of the children's classic. I grew up with the 1973 animated version and it still holds a place in my heart.

My six year old grandson gave me the thumbs up for this video. He has seen it before and looks forward to seeing it again.
