Miles above the Instapot we replaced for operation. On-line menus to prepare and cook food plans with unit. Makes it extremely easy and fool proof to make a great meal. They got it together for Customer ease and function. We had 3 instatpots, kept breaking down on pressure seal.

Still learning how to use it. I did a roast in it and it came out tender. If the instruction was more informational I would be good

This is a next level pressure cooker. Functions are so useful and it has options for all the usual food that we normally cook. The Quick release button and the silent cooking is amazing. Even the weighing scale is so cool! Never had fun cooking since I got this

It is Just amazing. It blews my mind when I started preparing something and the pan showed me precisely the amount of water and meat I had already added, beyond the amount I should yet to add. The integration with the app is also great.

What an impressive piece of cooking equipment! When I originally ordered the Chef iQ, I might have been just a little skeptical. I mean, come on, a pressure cooker with WiFi, Bluetooth and a smartphone app? Why in the world would I need that? The Chef iQ has proved me wrong. Connectability is a huge part of what makes the Chef iQ so special, as well as a huge variety of programs that allow you to use just this pressure cooker for every meal that you ever make. The first thing to do when unboxing the Chef iQ (which conveniently comes with a steamer basket, a rack, measuring cups, and spoons) is download and install the Chef iQ app. The app will walk you through connecting to the pressure cooker and getting it connected to WiFi. The Chef iQ comes with a beautiful electronic display, a round multi-selector knob, and haptic touch buttons for selecting different items. It is a welcome change from other pressure cookers that have tons of raised buttons and plain old displays that only show digits. The Chef iQ has an actual screen on it that looks like a fancy smartphone. Very cool! Once the app is downloaded, the cooker is connected, and you've registered with Chef iQ, the fun begins. Use the app to find a recipe. For example, last night, I had some pork chops that I needed to cook up. I typed "pork chops" into the search bar of the Chef iQ app on my iPhone. It came back with two recipes, both of which looked delicious. One of them was Pork Schnitzel. I had no idea what that was, but after reading the ingredient list, I saw I had everything at the house for it. I pressed start, and began following the prompts on my iPhone. The app walked me through the entire recipe, including pictures. After a step was finished, I pressed next and the app went to the next step in the recipe. It even told me when to add oil to the Chef iQ and did not turn the Chef iQ on until it sensed I had added the oil (it has a weight scale built-in that detects the weight of items!!!). The Chef iQ automatically turned on, came up to heat (while counting down on the app how long before I could add the pork), and then directed me to add the pork chops. The app even provided a timer for when I should flip the chops, or, if I felt they should be flipped earlier, a next button that told it I was moving to the next step. The result? Some of the most amazing, gloriously brown breaded pork chops. The Chef iQ is not just a pressure cooker! It is a full-blown, multi-purpose cooking machine! I literally could spend pages writing about my experience with the Chef iQ. Every time I've had something to cook over the last week, I've immediately grabbed my phone, opened the Chef iQ app, and typed in a search to see if what I had sitting around the house would make a delicious meal from the cooker. It has multiple programs for searing, pressure cooking, and slow cooking. It's a six-quart cooker, so good for 2-3 people no sweat. I was skeptical of the need to have such a fancy pressure cooker at first, but now the Chef iQ is the first kitchen component I turn to when I'm thinking about cooking something. One dish cooking makes everything so much easier. And, with its non-stick coating, the pot is super easy to clean. I did have one challenge. Only happened a couple of times. The pressure cooker would lose connection with my phone during the cooking process, and I would have to go back in through the app and tell it to find it. Not a huge bummer, just a little frustrating at times to be right in the middle of a recipe and have the phone and Chef iQ lose connection. It always came back, however, so it's just a small frustration compared to the great usability of this machine. Overall, highly recommended!

I couldn't resist trying out the CHEF iQ Pressure Cooker, primarily for the advertised smart features and somewhat unique feature set like the auto-steam release. Overall, I must say I'm impressed and have been genuinely happy using it. The smart cooker is only as good as its app, which I have been very pleased with for both functionality and design. The only slight issue/complaint I have is, during initial setup the Android app from Chef iQ had a problem that prevented setup to complete. Thankfully I had an alternate Android tablet that was able to successfully finish the setup of the pressure cooker. To be fair, this issue may be resolved with subsequent app updates that have occurred. I will be on the lookout for future products from CHEF iQ, this one has definitely set the bar high!

Being new to cooking with pressure cookers (yes, we hadn't given in and gotten one of the big name ones yet), we were looking forward to using the new CHEF iQ Smart Cooker. And we were not disappointed! The WiFi and Bluetooth connected CHEF iQ Smart Cooker is more than just a pressure cooker (but it does do that quite well). It also has functions to Sear/Sauté (so you don't have to use a separate pan to sear, which also can let you keep more flavor with your recipe), Steam (which it comes with a steam rack and steam basket), slow cook, and even ferment (to make your own yogurt). It has a 6-quart, non-stick (ceramic coating) cooking pot, which should be big enough for your family (well, depending on how many teenage boys you have). There is a scale built in, which can be used at times to accurately put in ingredients. The front panel is a capacitive touchscreen, with buttons for the different cooking modes, Start/Stop and pressure release, along with an LCD screen that you can start cooking from, but also give feedback on what do to next or the current status. There is a knob below the screen which can be used to move through the choices on the screen (press the knob to select). Using the CHEF iQ app (on Android or Apple), you can choose from over 100 recipes (with more always being added), which gives step-by-step preparation instructions (along with photos/videos), then helps guide you through initialization of some steps on the cooker. It also displays the timer while it is cooking (so you don't have to keep going over to check). The cooker will give a little beeping warning when it is about to start releasing pressure. To really give it a good test, we cooked on six different days (sometimes twice a day) making four meals (chicken, meatloaf, pork roast - which was seared at the beginning), one side (great Mac & Cheese), two different oatmeal recipes, hard boiled eggs (which cooked quicker than our usual methods and peeled very easily) and a peach dessert. Each time turned out great (they have wonderful recipes so far)! The first meal was a chicken recipe, and we ended up using more chicken than the recipe called for, but that didn't cause any issues. Not sure if knew there was an extra .5 lb. in there, but all of the chicken cooked perfectly. One thing that we did run into after the first time using it, is that sometimes, the floating valve doesn't pop up to get the full seal needed. The first couple of times it happened, we got a warning that displayed at 90%, stating Temperature Too High. The second time, after watching what was happening (seem to be a little stuck), I ended up using a toothpick to encourage the valve to pop up. So, the rest of the times using it, we keep a eye out between 75-90% and give it a little help when it didn't pop up by itself. Another issue we had run into was with the app, where it would lose connection to the cooker after the phone screen turned off, and then would have a little trouble getting reconnected and back into the recipe. That issue seems to be fixed after they released a new app update. We have always done a lot of slow cooking meals, getting the meats tender, but now it is nice the have this awesome pressure cooker that will allow us to get similar results much faster. And being a Smart cooker makes it even better!

Used it once so far but plan on using it many more times. Great product easy and fun to use. Was worth every penny

It makes cooking super easy. Unlike other pressure cookers I've used in the past this one works well and has a lot more features then any other cooker!

I'm so excited for this highly smart multicooker that has step by step videos that is very interactive in helping you create new dishes. Highly recommend
