Great budget waffle maker...

The Chefman sounded like a good choice. I've used it several times and here are my thoughts. I like the size of the waffles and the machine doesn't take up a lot of space. It heats quickly and cooks pretty evenly. There's a nice range of choices for "doneness". I'm not crazy about the latch. It's hard to operate with one hand, so my instinct was to use the other hand to hold the opposite side steady. Wrong! It's HOT there! I burned myself twice the first time I used it. Warning - use a pot-holder if you touch anything except the latch! It's not the best non-stick finish, but maybe I didn't season it enough. Not terrible, though. All in all, it's a very good buy for around $20. Just be careful where you touch it!

I will use only regular batter from now on… had to use a tooth brush to clean it all out. Otherwise i really like this!

Better than WAFFLE HOUSE

Best if you wait a few seconds after the done light comes on. Opening the machine after bake takes some care; it can be hot from steam. Experiment to suite your taste with different pre mixes that are available at grocery store.

I have found if I heat and let the mix spread before I shut the lid, it does not overflow! My family love my waffles

Decent Waffle Maker

Only issue is that to open the maker to get the waffle out, the handle is quite hot and if not careful one could get burnt.

Chefman Anti-Overflow Belgian Waffle Maker

My husband really loves Belgian waffles and this performed great. So far easy to clean. Just remember to add 1/4 teaspoon oil to your batter....makes clean-up a simple wipe.

Great For Beginners.

I tried it out for a family brunch while being quarantined inside due to COVID-19. They came out great. Also topped the batter with a bit of food coloring so I ended up with Rainbow looking waffles. Yummy.

When not use, it won't take a big space to storage.

Krusteaz Belgian Waffle mix works perfect in this and makes the best waffles, IMHO.
