It’s not too big and easy clean up. Very fast and has different setting for crisp likeness. I think anyone would enjoy it very much. Great value and great price.

Works great! There is a dial that you can adjust for crispness. Kids loved them and easily to keep the appliance clean

I purchased two of these; one for myself and one as a gift for a friend. I did that because I liked the description of the unit, the look, the fact that it made the thicker Belgian style Waffles and that the maker has a "CRISPER" selector dial. I like my waffles crisp and brown on the exterior, fluffy on the interior. Plus, the price was good. I really like the all black look of the Waffle Maker. The power cord is long enough to reach an outlet without stretching the cord taught. I found the Pre-Cleaning of the waffle grates a bit time consuming and tedious, as they are not removable and you cannot submerge the item, or even pass it under a stream of water; it is not water tight at all. On my first attempt at a waffle (I used Krusteaz Crisp Waffle Mix), I oiled the waffle grates with extra lite olive oil (you cannot ever use spray oils), and heated the unit until the ready light came on. That first time, I did not place enough batter on the waffle grates, so that waffle was thin and as I had not turned the dial high enough, it wasn't as dark as I would have liked. For my second waffle, I made certain I filled the provided plastic measuring cup with batter and turned the Crispness knob to number 5. I also left the waffle cooking a bit longer after the ready light turned blue for extra doneness. I was much happier with this waffle. It had a nice brown color, was fluffy inside, however it was not really crispy. Next time, I am going to use one of the recipes provided with the waffle maker. That recipe opposed to a box mix, will likely provide better results. I will update this review later, once I have experimented with a few recipes, cooking times, etc.
