Makes great waffles, takes a long time to heat up

However it does take a very long time to heat up. There’s 5 shade levels. With 5 being the darkest. We make ours on shade level 2 and it takes almost 10 minutes to heat up. So definitely make your batter AFTER you’ve turned on the machine. Not before.

I used it once and that’s it so far I just wanted to see what was the hype about

I purchased this unit after referring the CR reviews and ratings, but I cannot agree with the folks at CR on recommending as the overall Best Buy. In my opinion it earns a Good rating. I will wait at least 2 years before I purchase a replacement. The dial indicator is not accurate with informing you that the cooking is done; I am disappointed.
