the quality of the materials is iffy...will serve purpose of making waffles..fast cooking time but still spills which defeats the selling point/design

Takes too long to cook a waffle

I purchased this waffle maker because it has mostly good reviews, wish I had bought something else. Instructions say after blue light comes back on (which is about a minute) after pouring in batter, waffle is done, not true. It is far from done. In order to get a crisp on the outside waffle it takes about 10-15 minutes of it cycling on and off (blue light goes off as heat comes on then lights back up when heat stops). The outside never really gets brown and crisp and by the time it does get a little brown the inside is dried out. It doesn't get hot enough long enough to properly cook a waffle. Waffles need to be cooked on high heat to brown outside and have tender, fluffy inside, this machine is not capable, even on "max" setting. And yes I've tried several batter recipes (even the one that comes in instruction book) and had no luck. I've let it heat up for 5-15 minutes before pouring in batter, still no luck. I would return it, but I threw the box away. I would NOT recommend this waffle maker.

Average product, anti overflow is a joke, just a little space to store the excess but still overflowed

It spills out the sides no matter how little or much batter you put into it. I am disappointed in this waffle maker. I would return it but I threw out the box and getting to a store when my state is under a stay at home order is impossible.

Liked the idea of the anti-overflow feature so purchased this waffle maker. Had company so I had two small waffle irons going. I made three waffles with the other waffle iron before this one completed cooking one waffle.

Good basic waffle maker. Opening it is difficult as it can get stuck and the edges you need to hold to open it are all hot. Also you have to watch the light turn blue to know its time to get the waffle. An audible alarm would have been a lot better!

Bought this on sale and I feel that it was still too much. The picture in the ad shows a nice browned waffle, I wouldn't know what that looks like because this thing takes forever to cook a waffle and still doesn't brown.

We purchased this waffle-maker because our previous one kept overflowing batter and this had solid reviews. We used the measuring cup that came included and it still overflowed.

Does not work well at all, the light indicators that are supposed to tell you when the waffle iron is ready to cook and when the waffle is ready don’t work at all.

Wasn’t too happy with this item; the waffles were much too flat to be enjoyed- even with the overflow. I would not recommend.

I bought this at 50% off from a daily deal. Unit was defective straight out of the box, didn’t get hot enough. Ever try cleaning half cooked waffle mix from a waffle maker? I have and I would put it easily into the top 10 methods of torture of all time. YMMV.
