Slow to bake a waffle. Using the same batter my Dash mini can turn out five waffles in the time this thing makes one. The reason is that the Chefman is making a 7x1 inch waffle with 700watts. That comes out to approx 18 watts per cubic inch. (7 inch diameter=38.4 sq in x 1 inch = 38.4 cu in) Divide 700 watts by 38.4 cu in = 18 watts/cu in. The Dash at 350 watts and 4 inches is 12.6 sq in by 1/2 inch or 6.3 cu in. Divide 350 watts by 6.3 cu in = 55.5 watts per cu in. Also with the same mix the Chefman waffle turned out rubbery. Maybe I just got a faulty waffle maker. But I was not impressed.
