    Awesome Yet Large Kitchen Gadget

When I ordered the Chefman Multifunction Air Fryer/Dehydrator/Rotisserie I had dreams of eating french fries, onion rings, and other fried treats all the time with little or no worry about negative health effects. Up front I want to say I’m satisfied with this in my kitchen, however it's more of a specialized tool than I had anticipated. Not everything is as easy as it seems. That being said the touch sensitive control panel was highly responsive and intuitive, graphics for the pre-programed food recipes were obvious...it's just a well laid out and usable panel compared to other appliances I’ve used. Physically it's a large appliance standing taller than my coffee maker and taking up the entire counter when you allow for the space in the back for hot air to vent (I believe the manual said 5” are recommended but I can’t find that now to confirm). So this is not a toaster or even a toaster oven which require much less real estate in the kitchen, especially if you consider how short the cord is you really need to be strategic how you arrange your countertop (unless you use extension cords). My first attempt to cook with this was the aforementioned french fries. I cut up a few potatoes into approximately shoestring fast food size fries and laid them out on the metal racks. This unit comes with four racks and has a drip tray at the bottom, they are stainless and very easy to clean. I found that my top rack cooked too much and the bottom not enough but the middle two were quite successful! Max temperature seems to be 400 degrees and it comes pre-programed with a number of tasks and foods to get started, but I’d recommend checking recipes online to adjust the temperature or time it runs the air fry process to better suit your needs (I found it was more to my satisfaction if I added about 5 minutes to the fry recipe and onion rings). This unit also does dehydration, which I’ve never been a big fan of although my wife did some fruit and recommends the unit for this. Again, just check after the process and likely it will need a little more time. The rotisserie function wasn’t tested simply because the size of our family would need three chickens the size that fit in the air fryer. I will recommend the drum basket that comes with it, we diced potatoes for breakfast hashbrowns and they turned out great! Functionally this unit is easy to get started with but then you’ll need to learn what works for you from trial and error. Since everyone’s tastes differ I’m not sure how helpful any of this is for you, hopefully it's very helpful! Honestly this is a solid unit that does a lot with the size, for me the footprint on the counter is quite large next to our blender, toaster, mixer, and coffee maker. If you have a small family and/or don’t have a crowded counter this is an exceptional buy! If you’re going to be feeding more than a few people and/or your apartment has an abundance of gadgets already living in the kitchen this may be something to strongly consider replacing something else but its not going to change your world. For me the fried potato dishes I’m making every weekend are going to make this a worthwhile appliance within a couple weeks!

Worked great! Right up to when it failed before the 5th month of owning it. I didn't get the geek squad protection so it will be fun dealing with the manufacturer to make this right. Also, best buy online told me to bring I to the store to get help. That was a lie.

Did not last a year. I thought I had done all the necessary research and comparisons. I only used this air fryer to reheat for the first 6 months. The 1st time I tried to cook some chicken, it died and never turned back on. Don’t waste your money.

Randomly stopped working 4 months after purchase. Reached out to their customer support, but I have not heard anything back. Decided to escalate to their VP of Customer Service and once again no response. Would not recommend this product to anyone.

Junk. The first time I used it (air frying) the fan kept trying to run but never fully functioned. Now when I turn it on, it gets very hot, the fan does not run, and I get an E3 error code. I've only had it a month. I'm returning it immediately.

They sent me a refurbished air fryer. You could tell with the scratches on the black outside of the air fryer and the sheets have scratches and rust/browning of the corners of the sheets racks. It broke or short wired the first time I used it and not buying it again.

Garbage, I used it less than 10 times in a year and right after the warranty expired, it went kaput. I plugged it in, put food to be cooked, set the time and hit start and it went lights out.

This is a 3 in 1 device which is an air frier, oven and a rotisserie oven. Unlike the other regular air fries, it also has a see through window which lets you see how the food is getting cooked. Pros —— 1. One of a kind rotisserie oven 2. its big its 10.5 qt 3. It cooks evenly Cons ——— 1. the mesh racks seem flimsy 2. its big UNBOXING & CONTENT The air fryer comes very well equipped and it is neatly packed. it comes with the following: 1. REMOVABLE RACKS (2) 2. ROTISSERIE BASKET 3 3.. ROTISSERIE RETRIEVAL TOOL 4. REMOVABLE DRIP TRAY 5. ROTISSERIE FORKS WITH REMOVAL SCREWS Just make sure that you remove all the stickers, wash all the accessories (not the air frier) and you are ready to go. USAGE It's an Air frier and it is very simple. If you are not using it in a rotisserie mode, just place the racks and set it to the a default setting (Fries, Meat, Fish , Shrimp, Chicken, rotisserie , Bake or Dehydrate). You can also change the default by clicking the temperature and/or time and adjusting it by using the dial on top. I used this air frier for fries, nuggets and also chicken patties. Fries and Nuggets were evenly cooked and the chicken patty came to be very juicy and well done. I never tried rotisserie chicken, one day i might. I think for the price, a little bit more than the air frier, you are getting more bang for the buck, This Air Frier+ is a good appliance to have.
